◆ 13일부터 8개 공공기관 신년 업무보고
인천시는 2026년도 주요 정책을 차질 없이 추진하고 현장 중심의 행정을 강화하기 위해 13일부터 공사·공단 등 시 산하 8개 공공기관을 대상으로 신년 업무보고를 실시한다고 12일 밝혔다. 이번 현장 방문은 2026년도 시정 운영 방향을 공유하고 시민 생활과 밀접한 주요 사업 추진 상황을 현장에서 직접 점검하기 위해 마련됐다. 일선 직원들의 의견을 시정에 반영하는 것도 목적이다. 방문 일정은 13일 인천교통공사·인천도시공사, 15일 인천환경공단·인천관광공사·인천문화재단, 19일 인천테크노파크·인천신용보증재단·인천시설공단 순으로 진행된다.
◆ 책임 경영·서비스 혁신 논의, 직원 소통 간담회 병행
인천시는 각 기관의 2026년도 주요 업무계획을 보고받고 어려운 경제 여건 속에서 공공기관이 수행해야 할 책임 경영과 서비스 혁신 방안을 함께 논의할 계획이다. 기존 보고 중심의 방식에서 벗어나 실무 직원들과 자유롭게 의견을 나누는 '직원 소통 간담회'를 병행해 현장의 애로사항을 청취하고 사기를 높일 방침이다.
◆ "시민 기대에 부응하는 공공서비스 제공하도록 지원"
유정복 시장은 "인천의 발전과 시민의 행복은 최일선 현장에서 묵묵히 소임을 다하는 공공기관 직원들의 손끝에서 시작된다"고 말했다. 유 시장은 "2026년 병오년(丙午年) 새해를 맞아 달리는 말은 말굽을 멈추지 않는다는 마부정제(馬不停蹄)의 자세로 모든 산하기관이 시민의 기대에 부응하는 공공서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 시 차원의 지원과 소통을 아끼지 않겠다"고 밝혔다.

◆ New Year work reports at 8 public institutions starting January 13
Incheon City announced on January 12 that it will conduct New Year work reports at 8 public institutions under the city, including public corporations, starting January 13 to ensure smooth implementation of major 2026 policies and strengthen field-centered administration. The on-site visits are designed to share the 2026 municipal administration direction and directly inspect major project progress closely related to citizens' lives. Reflecting frontline employees' opinions in city administration is also a goal. The visit schedule proceeds as follows: January 13 for Incheon Transit Corporation and Incheon City Development Corporation, January 15 for Incheon Environment Corporation, Incheon Tourism Organization, and Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture, and January 19 for Incheon Technopark, Incheon Credit Guarantee Foundation, and Incheon Facilities Corporation.
◆ Discussing responsible management and service innovation with employee communication meetings
Incheon City plans to receive reports on each institution's major 2026 work plans and discuss responsible management and service innovation measures that public institutions should implement amid difficult economic conditions. The city will hold 'Employee Communication Meetings' where staff can freely exchange opinions, departing from traditional report-centered methods, to hear field difficulties and boost morale.
◆ "Will support institutions to provide public services meeting citizens' expectations"
Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok stated "Incheon's development and citizens' happiness begin at the fingertips of public institution employees who silently fulfill their duties on the frontlines." Mayor Yoo said "In the new year of 2026, the Year of the Horse (丙午年), with the attitude of 'Ma-bu-jeong-je' (馬不停蹄) meaning a running horse does not stop its hooves, we will spare no support and communication at the city level so all affiliated institutions can provide public services that meet citizens' expectations."
