◆ 서울아산청라병원 착공식 개최

하나은행은 29일 인천시 서구 청라동에서 청라의료복합타운의 핵심 시설인 서울아산청라병원 착공식에 참여했다고 밝혔다. 이날 착공식에는 유정복 인천시장, 박승일 서울아산병원장을 비롯해 사업법인 주주사인 하나은행, KT&G, 우미건설, 현대산업개발, 하나자산신탁 등의 임직원들과 다수의 사업관계자들이 참석했다.

◆ 청라의료복합타운 사업 개요

청라의료복합타운은 종합병원 및 의료 바이오 관련 산업과 학문, 연구 시설 등을 조성하는 사업이다. 서울아산청라병원은 2029년까지 지상 19층, 지하 2층, 약 800병상 규모로 준공을 목표로 한다. KAIST 연구소와 하버드 의대 매사추세츠병원(MGH) 연구소가 입주할 예정이다. 의료복합산업 연구개발(R&D)의 허브 기능을 담당하는 창업 및 교육시설인 Life Science Park와 노인복지시설 및 오피스텔 등도 들어설 계획이다.

◆ 하나은행 역할 및 하나드림타운 조성

하나은행은 글로벌 최고 수준의 의료복합타운을 구축하기 위한 컨소시엄에 참여했다. 하나은행은 이번 사업의 출자자 및 금융 주선사로서 사업 및 금융구조 기획 역할을 담당한다. 하나은행은 하나금융그룹 ONE IB를 바탕으로 금융주선과 재무적 투자자로서 안정적인 재원을 공급할 예정이다. 하나은행 IB그룹 관계자는 "서울아산청라병원이 글로벌 최고 수준의 첨단 의료기관으로 성장하길 기대한다"며 "서울아산청라병원이 내년에 완성될 하나드림타운과의 시너지를 창출해 청라의 랜드마크로 자리매김하게 될 것"이라고 밝혔다. 하나금융그룹은 인천 청라지역에 하나드림타운을 3단계에 걸쳐 조성하고 있다. 2017년에 1단계 사업으로 통합데이터센터를 구축했으며 2019년에 2단계 사업으로 그룹 연수원인 하나글로벌캠퍼스를 완공했다. 마지막 3단계 사업으로 2026년에 그룹 헤드쿼터를 완공해 하나드림타운을 완성할 계획이다.

Seoul Asan Cheongna Hospital aims to complete construction by 2029 with 19 floors above ground, 2 basement floors, and approximately 800 beds. KAIST Research Institute and Harvard Medical School's Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Research Institute are scheduled to move in. ◆ Hana Bank's Role and Hana Dream Town Development

Hana Bank participated in a consortium to build a world-class medical complex town. Hana Bank serves as an investor and financial arranger for this project, taking charge of business and financial structure planning. Hana Bank plans to provide stable funding as a financial arranger and financial investor based on Hana Financial Group's ONE IB. A Hana Bank IB Group official stated, "We expect Seoul Asan Cheongna Hospital to grow into a world-class advanced medical institution," adding, "Seoul Asan Cheongna Hospital will create synergy with Hana Dream Town, which will be completed next year, and become a landmark of Cheongna." Hana Financial Group is developing Hana Dream Town in the Cheongna area of Incheon in three phases. In 2017, an integrated data center was established as the first phase project, and in 2019, Hana Global Campus, the group's training center, was completed as the second phase. The final third phase plans to complete the group headquarters in 2026 to finish Hana Dream Town.
