◆ 신트리공원으로 서비스 확대
양천구(구청장 이기재)가 신트리공원에 재활용품 수거 자율주행 로봇을 추가 운영한다고 31일 밝혔다. 양천구는 양천공원, 오목공원, 파리공원에 이어 네 번째로 신트리공원에 로봇을 배치한다. 자율주행 로봇은 플라스틱, 종이, 캔 등 품목별 수거함을 갖췄다. 공원 내 QR코드로 호출하면 해당 위치로 이동해 재활용품을 수거하고 충전 스테이션으로 자동 복귀한다. 오전과 오후 정기 순환주행도 실시한다.
◆ 전국 최초 도입 1년 성과
양천구는 '테스트베드 서울 실증사업'을 통해 지난해 전국 최초로 재활용품 수거 로봇을 도입했다. ㈜로보티즈AI로부터 신기술을 지원받아 1년간 3개 공원에서 운영한 결과 이용 건수가 6천여 건에 달했다. 구는 운영 성과를 바탕으로 당초 2025년 종료 예정이던 운영 기간을 2026년까지 연장한다.
◆ 배달로봇 서비스도 확대
양천구는 양천공원, 오목공원, 파리공원에 '스마트 로봇존'을 구축하고 지난 9월부터 배달로봇 각 2대를 투입해 식음료 배달 서비스를 운영 중이다. 구는 공원별 배달로봇 2대를 추가하고 가맹점도 5곳을 늘려 총 19곳으로 확대한다. 이기재 양천구청장은 "더 많은 주민이 일상에서 첨단기술을 체감하고 공원 이용 편의도 개선되길 바란다"고 말했다.

◆ Service Expands to Sintree Park
Yangcheon District (Mayor Lee Gi-jae) announced on December 31 that it will deploy autonomous recycling collection robots to Sintree Park. The district adds Sintree Park as its fourth location after Yangcheon Park, Omok Park, and Paris Park. The autonomous robots feature separate bins for plastic, paper, and cans. When summoned via QR codes in the park, robots travel to the location, collect recyclables, and automatically return to charging stations. They also conduct regular morning and afternoon patrol routes.
◆ First-in-Nation Launch Shows Strong Results
Yangcheon District introduced the recycling robots last year as the first in the nation through the "Testbed Seoul Demonstration Project." The district received technology support from Robotis AI Co. and recorded over 6,000 uses across three parks in one year. Based on these results, the district extends the operation period from the originally planned 2025 end date to 2026.
◆ Delivery Robot Service Also Expands
Yangcheon District completed "Smart Robot Zones" at Yangcheon Park, Omok Park, and Paris Park. The district deployed two delivery robots per park in September and operates food and beverage delivery services. The district will add two more delivery robots per park and increase participating stores by five to a total of 19. Mayor Lee Gi-jae said he hopes more residents experience advanced technology in daily life and enjoy improved park convenience.
