◆ 조직개편 개요

◆ 에너지 부서 분리와 기타 조정
에너지산업과는 '에너지정책과'와 '신재생에너지과'로 분리된다. 해상풍력과 신재생에너지 관련 업무가 확대되면서 기존 부서 규모가 비대해진 점을 고려해 기능을 나눠 전문성을 강화한다. 신재생에너지과는 수소산업 생태계 구축, 해상풍력 발전단지와 관련 기반시설 조성·지원, 신재생에너지 인식 개선을 통한 수용성 확보, 에너지 전환을 위한 시민 참여 사업 등을 담당한다. 시는 산업정책과와 창업벤처과를 '산업벤처정책과'로 통합하고, 도로과를 '도로과'와 '도로안전과'로 분리하는 등 조직 운영 효율화를 위한 조정도 병행한다.

◆ AI Division Establishment
The Digital Industry Division currently under the Future Industry Bureau will be reorganized into the 'AI Division.' The AI Division will be responsible for establishing comprehensive AI plans, overall AI project management, and activation activities. The Digital Industry Division has been promoting the creation of a physical AI-centered innovation ecosystem, manufacturing AI industry transition, and AI life service innovation under the vision of 'Human-centered AI Coexistence City Incheon.' After reorganization into the AI Division, it will also be responsible for expanding AI utilization across administrative services as well as industrial sectors.
◆ Energy Department Separation and Other Adjustments
The Energy Industry Division will be separated into 'Energy Policy Division' and 'Renewable Energy Division.' Functions are being divided to strengthen expertise, considering that the existing department size had become bloated as offshore wind and renewable energy-related work expanded. The Renewable Energy Division will be responsible for building the hydrogen industry ecosystem, creating and supporting offshore wind power complexes and related infrastructure, securing acceptance through improved awareness of renewable energy, and citizen participation projects for energy transition. The city will also merge the Industrial Policy Division and Startup Venture Division into 'Industrial Venture Policy Division' and separate the Road Division into 'Road Division' and 'Road Safety Division' as part of adjustments to improve organizational operational efficiency.
