◆ 협약 체결

인천광역시교육청이 16일 학생 도박 예방을 위한 민·관 업무협약을 체결했다. 협약 기관은 인천경찰청, 인천YMCA, 인천YWCA, 가천대길병원, 인천참사랑병원, 인천도박문제예방치유센터, 인천광역시청소년상담복지센터 등 7곳이다. 이번 협약은 온라인 기반 불법 도박 확산으로 학생 노출 위험이 커지는 상황에 대응하기 위해 추진됐다. 교육청과 지역사회가 공동 대응 체계를 구축하고자 협력에 나섰다.

◆ 협력 확대와 통합 지원 체계

인천시교육청은 지난해 4월 경찰과 인천도박문제예방치유센터와 협약을 체결했다. 올해는 의료기관과 상담기관, 지역단체까지 협력 범위를 확대했다. 예방부터 조기 발견, 상담·치료, 사후 관리까지 연계되는 통합 지원 체계를 마련했다. 협약 주요 내용은 학생 도박 예방 교육 및 조기 발견 체계 구축, 고위험군 학생 상담·치료 지원, 예방 홍보 및 민·관 협력 네트워크 운영 등이다.

◆ 교육감 발언

도성훈 교육감은 "학생 도박 문제 대응에는 학교와 지역사회, 전문기관의 협력이 중요하다"고 말했다. 도 교육감은 "이번 협약이 현장에서 실효성 있는 예방 정책으로 이어지도록 하겠다"고 밝혔다.

◆ Agreement Signed

The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education signed a public-private business agreement for student gambling prevention on the 16th. ◆ Expanded Cooperation and Integrated Support System

The Incheon Office of Education signed an agreement with police and the Incheon Gambling Problem Prevention and Healing Center in April last year. This year, the scope of cooperation was expanded to include medical institutions, counseling agencies, and local organizations. An integrated support system linking prevention, early detection, counseling and treatment, and follow-up management was established. Superintendent Do Seong-hun said, "Cooperation among schools, local communities, and professional institutions is important in responding to student gambling problems." Superintendent Do stated, "We will ensure that this agreement leads to effective prevention policies in the field."
