◆코스피 150포인트 하락...한 달 만에 3800대 기록
코스피가 21일 150포인트 넘게 하락한 3853에 마감했다. 한국거래소는 장 시작 5분 만에 160포인트 하락하며 3800선에 근접했다. 코스피는 오후 2시경 3838까지 떨어졌다. 종가가 3800대를 기록한 것은 지난달 23일 이후 한 달 만이다. 전날 4000선을 재탈환했던 코스피는 반등에 실패했다.
◆삼성전자·SK하이닉스 급락...반도체 대형주 직격탄
삼성전자는 5% 하락했다. SK하이닉스는 8% 넘게 떨어졌다. 반도체 대형주들이 크게 흔들렸다. SK하이닉스는 한 달 만에 64만 원까지 상승했으나 이날만 5만 원이 빠졌다. 엔비디아가 호실적을 발표했으나 미국에서 AI 거품론이 지속됐다. 나스닥 지수가 하락하자 국내 증시도 급락했다. 양해성 대학생은 "미국 장 상태가 안 좋아서 슬펐다"며 "국내 증시 변동성이 너무 크고 예측하기 어렵다"고 말했다.
◆원·달러 환율 1475.6원...7개월 만에 최고치
외국인들이 주식을 매도했다. 달러 수요가 늘어 원·달러 환율이 7.7원 오른 1475.6원을 기록했다. 환율이 7개월여 만에 최고치를 기록했다.
