인천광역시가 11월 12일부터 20일까지 제10회 '전통시장 장보러 가는 날' 행사를 개최한다고 11일 밝혔다.

(사)인천상인연합회가 주최하고 시가 후원하는 이번 행사는 '인천 세일페스타' 기간에 맞춰 관내 18개 전통시장에서 진행된다.

참여 시장은 주안시민지하상가, 진흥종합시장, 신포국제시장, 구월도매전통시장, 인천모래내시장, 구월시장, 강남시장, 송현시장, 부평대아지하상가, 인천축산물시장, 계양산전통시장, 옥련시장, 현대시장, 부평깡시장, 일신시장, 강화풍물시장, 인천용남시장, 계산시장이다.

시장별로 1∼5일간 행사를 진행하며, 전국 산지에서 구매한 농축산물을 산지가격으로 판매한다. 행사 품목을 구매한 고객에게는 온누리상품권과 경품을 증정한다.

유정복 시장은 "이번 행사를 통해 시민들은 저렴한 가격에 우수 농·축산물을 구매할 수 있고, 전통시장 매출 증대로 이어지기를 기대한다"며 "많은 시민들의 관심과 참여를 바란다"고 말했다.

행사 품목과 온누리상품권이 소진되면 조기 종료될 수 있다. 세부 일정은 (사)인천상인연합회(회장 서장열) 및 각 참가시장 상인회에서 확인할 수 있다.

Incheon Metropolitan City announced on the 11th that it will hold the 10th 'Traditional Market Shopping Day' event from November 12 to 20.

Hosted by the Incheon Merchants Association and sponsored by the city, this event will be held at 18 traditional markets in the city during the 'Incheon Sale Festa' period.

Participating markets include Juan Civic Underground Shopping Center, Jinheung General Market, Sinpo International Market, Guwol Wholesale Traditional Market, Incheon Moraenae Market, Guwol Market, Gangnam Market, Songhyeon Market, Bupyeong Daea Underground Shopping Center, Incheon Livestock Market, Gyeyang Mountain Traditional Market,Ongnyeon Market, Hyundai Market, Bupyeong Kkang Market, Ilsin Market, Ganghwa Folk Market, Incheon Yongnam Market, and Gyesan Market.

Each market will hold events for 1 to 5 days, selling agricultural and livestock products purchased from production areas nationwide at farm-gate prices. Customers who purchase event items will receive Onnuri gift certificates and prizes.

Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok said, "Through this event, citizens can purchase high-quality agricultural and livestock products at affordable prices, and we expect it will lead to increased sales at traditional markets," adding, "We hope for much interest and participation from citizens."

The event may end early if event items and Onnuri gift certificates are exhausted. Detailed schedules can be confirmed with the Incheon Merchants Association (Chairman Seo Jang-yeol) and each participating market merchants association.
