서울회생법원이 대규모 정산 지연 사태를 일으킨 이커머스 업체 위메프에 대해 파산 선고를 내렸다. 내년 1월 6일까지 판매자 등 채권자는 채권을 신고해야 하며, 파산관재인은 위메프가 현금화할 수 있는 재산을 파악해야 한다.
서울회생법원 회생3부는 지난 10일 "채무자 주식회사 위메프에 대해 파산을 선고하다"고 공고했다. 법원은 내년 1월 6일까지 위메프에 대해 채권을 가진 사람들이 법원에 채권을 신고하는 채권신고를 받는다. 파산관재인은 같은달 27일 열리는 채권자집회 기일까지 채무자 위메프의 영업 현황과 부채 규모, 환가할 수 있는 재산이 있는지 여부 등을 집중적으로 조사하게 된다. 채권자집회가 개최되면 파산관재인이 재판부에 조사 결과를 보고하고 채권자들의 의견을 청취하며 파산 절차의 진행 방향을 논의하게 된다. 이후 파산관재인은 조사된 재산을 현금화하고 그 돈을 채권자들에게 채권액에 비례해 배분하는 절차를 진행한다.
티몬과 위메프는 지난해 7월 말 대규모 미정산 및 미환불 사태가 발생하면서 기업회생 절차를 밟게 됐다. 티몬의 경우 오아시스마켓이 회생채권의 변제를 완료해 지난달 회생 절차가 종결됐다. 그러나 위메프에 대해서는 지난 9월 회생 절차 폐지를 결정했다.
