중학생들이 면허 없이 몰던 전동킥보드에 30대 여성이 치여 의식불명 상태에 빠졌다.

22일 인천 연수경찰서에 따르면 지난 18일 오후 4시37분께 연수구 송도동 한 인도에서 중학생 2명이 탄 전동킥보드가 B(30대·여)씨를 쳤다.

B씨는 전동킥보드가 속도를 줄이지 않은 채 자신의 딸을 향해 달려오자 몸으로 막아서다 뒤로 넘어져 머리 부위 등을 크게 다쳤다.

119구급대에 의해 병원으로 옮겨진 B씨는 현재까지 의식을 되찾지 못하고 있다. 사고 당시 A양은 원동기 면허를 소지하지 않은 상태에서 전동킥보드를 몰았으며 '1인 1대 탑승 원칙'도 위반했다. 경찰은 교통사고처리특례법 위반(치상) 및 도로교통법 위반(무면허운전) 혐의로 A양을 수사하고 있다.

According to the Incheon Yeonsu Police Station on the 22nd, two middle school students riding an electric scooter struck Ms. B (female, 30s) on a sidewalk in Songdo-dong, Yeonsu-gu at 4:37 p.m. on the 18th. Ms. B was knocked backward and suffered severe head injuries while trying to shield her daughter from the oncoming scooter, which was not slowing down. Transported to a hospital by emergency services, Ms. B has not regained consciousness. At the time of the accident, Student A was operating the electric scooter without a moped license and violated the 'one person per vehicle' rule. Police are investigating Student A on charges of violating the Special Act on Traffic Accident Processing (bodily injury) and the Road Traffic Act (unlicensed driving).
