◆ 산림청 공모사업 선정, 녹색자금 100% 지원

수원특례시(시장 이재준)가 영통종합사회복지관 야외에 참여형 정원, 산책로, 보행데크 등으로 구성된 산림복지 나눔숲(840㎡)을 조성했다. 수원시는 산림청과 한국산림복지진흥원이 주관한 '2025년 녹색자금 지원사업' 공모에 선정돼 사업을 추진했다. 총사업비 1억3100만원(녹색자금 100%)을 지원받았다.

◆ 방치 공간을 녹지 휴식 공간으로 재탄생

수원시는 실시설계와 관계 기관 협의를 거쳐 9월부터 10월까지 공사를 진행했다. 기존에 방치돼 있던 복지관 외부 공간을 정비해 수목을 심고, 산책로와 보행 데크를 설치하는 등 누구나 편하게 이용할 수 있는 녹지 휴식 공간으로 조성했다.

◆ 친환경 복지 공간으로 활용

수원시 관계자는 "방치됐던 노후 공간이 지역 주민 모두를 위한 친환경 복지 공간으로 재탄생했다"고 말했다.

◆ Selected for Korea Forest Service Public Offering, 100% Green Funds Support

Suwon Special City (Mayor Lee Jae-jun) has created a Forest Welfare Sharing Forest (840㎡) consisting of a participatory garden, walking path, pedestrian deck, etc. in the outdoor area of Yeongtong Comprehensive Social Welfare Center. Suwon City was selected for the '2025 Green Funds Support Project' public offering organized by the Korea Forest Service and Korea Forest Welfare Institute and pursued the project. It received a total project cost of 131 million won (100% green funds).

◆ Rebirth of Neglected Space into Green Leisure Space

Suwon City conducted construction from September to October after detailed design and consultation with related organizations. It renovated the previously neglected external space of the welfare center, planted trees, installed walking paths and pedestrian decks, etc., creating a green leisure space that anyone can use comfortably.

◆ Utilized as Eco-Friendly Welfare Space

A Suwon City official stated, "The neglected old space has been reborn as an eco-friendly welfare space for all local residents."
