◆ 혹한기 대비 이륜차 무상 안전점검 실시
인천시 남동구는 쿠팡이츠 서비스와 협업해 혹한기 대비 이륜차 무상 안전점검 및 소모품 교체 캠페인을 했다고 6일 밝혔다. 이번 행사는 시간에 쫓겨 정비를 미루던 이동노동자의 이륜차를 사전에 점검해 안전사고 발생을 예방하고자 마련됐다.
◆ 정밀 점검·소모품 교체 및 안전 장비 지원
점검은 한국오토바이정비협회 소속 정비사가 참여해 이륜차의 제동장치, 타이어, 배터리 등을 정밀 안전점검하고, 엔진오일, 브레이크 패드 등을 교체했다. 남동구는 야간 가시성 확보를 위한 LED 암밴드를 지원하고, 교통안전 수칙 준수를 안내하며 이동노동자의 안전한 근로 환경 조성에 힘썼다. 구는 앞서 160여 명의 이동노동자에게 안전교육과 함께 안전 장비를 지원했으며, 앞으로도 근로환경 개선과 안전 확보를 위한 노력을 지속할 계획이다.
◆ 유관기관 협업으로 안전 근로환경 조성
행사에 함께 참여한 도로교통공단은 현장 맞춤 교통안전교육을 진행 후 수료자 대상 안전용품을 지원하고, 인천생활물류쉼터는 참가자들에게 따뜻한 커피를 제공해 뜻깊은 캠페인이 되도록 힘을 보탰다. 박종효 남동구청장은 "이번 무상점검 캠페인을 통해 사고 위험이 큰 이동노동자의 근로 환경 개선에 도움이 됐길 바란다"며 "남동구 이동노동자의 안전한 근로환경을 위해 더욱 힘쓰겠다"고 밝혔다.
