◆ 어린이 통학버스 점검 실시
군포의왕교육지원청은 2025년 11월 5일 의왕시 중앙도서관에서 하반기 어린이 통학버스 합동점검을 진행했다. 점검에는 한국교통안전공단 경기남부본부, 의왕경찰서, 군포의왕교육지원청 의왕 교육지원센터 등 관계 기관이 참여했다. 교육지원청은 어린이 통학 차량의 안전 운행 실태를 꼼꼼히 확인했다.

점검팀은 통학버스 신고·등록 여부, 어린이 하차 확인 장치 작동, 좌석 안전띠 및 비상탈출장치 구비, 운전자와 동승자의 안전교육 이수 여부를 중점적으로 점검했다. 교육지원청은 통학버스 운행 관계자의 안전 의식을 향상시키고, 동승자의 주의 의무를 강화하는 활동도 함께 진행했다.

◆ 교통 안전망 구축과 책임 의식 강화
교육지원청은 이번 점검을 통해 경찰서 등 관계 기관과 어린이 교통 안전망을 구축하고, 통학버스 운영자와 운전자의 안전관리 책임 의식을 높였다. 정숙경 교육장은 "학생과 학부모가 안심할 수 있는 통학 환경을 지속적으로 구축하겠다"고 말했다.

Gunpo-Uiwang Office of Education conducted a second half 2025 school bus safety inspection on November 5, 2025, at Uiwang Central Library. The inspection included Korea Transportation Safety Authority Southern Gyeonggi Headquarters, Uiwang Police Station, and Gunpo-Uiwang Office of Education Uiwang Education Support Center. The office checked the safe operation of school buses in detail.

◆ Focus on Safety Devices and Operator Training
The inspection team focused on bus registration, operation of child alighting confirmation devices, seat belts and emergency exits, and completion of safety training for drivers and assistants.
