4일 법조계에 따르면 서울동부지검은 지난달 31일 강제추행 혐의로 약식기소된 A씨에 대해 이날 오후 정식재판을 청구했다. 검찰은 A씨의 살인미수 혐의와 병합해 재판을 진행하기 위해 통상회부를 신청한 것으로 알려졌다.

◆ 조합 사무실서 3명 흉기로 찔러

서울 강동경찰서는 이날 오전 10시 20분께 강동구 천호동 가로주택정비사업 조합 사무실에서 50대 여성과 70대 남성 등 총 3명을 흉기로 찔러 살해하려 한 혐의로 A씨를 현행범으로 체포했다.

◆ 피해자 1명 강제추행 피해 확인

피해자 중 1명이 A씨에게 강제추행을 당한 사실이 확인됐다. 피해자는 중상을 입고 병원에 이송됐으나 생명에는 지장이 없는 것으로 전해졌다.

경찰은 A씨를 상대로 정확한 범행 경위를 조사한 뒤 구속영장을 신청할 예정이다.

◆ Stabbed 3 people with weapon at union office

Seoul Gangdong Police Station arrested A on the spot at around 10:20 a.m. on charges of attempting to kill 3 people, including a woman in her 50s and a man in his 70s, by stabbing them with a weapon at the Street Housing Improvement Project union office in Cheonho-dong, Gangdong-gu.

◆ Sexual assault of 1 victim confirmed

One of the victims was confirmed to have been sexually assaulted by A. The victim sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital but reportedly has no life-threatening condition.

Police plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the crime with A and then apply for an arrest warrant.
