제45회 전국장애인체육대회에서 인천이 종합 9위를 기록하며 경남·대전과 치열한 순위 경쟁을 펼치고 있다.
인천시는 전국장애인체전 5일째인 4일 오후 6시 기준, 금메달 35개, 은메달 39개, 동메달 60개 등 총 메달 134개를 획득했다. 종합 순위는 9위(7만5667점)로 10위 경남(7만4982.3점), 11위 대전(7만3298.32점)에 근소한 차이로 앞서고 있다.
이날 육상트랙 신우진(시각)이 남자 200m T12(선수부)에서 25초 92 기록으로 금메달을 차지하며 이번 대회 3관왕의 영예를 안았다. 육상필드에서는 김종민(뇌병변)이 남자 창던지기 F37(선수부)에서 32.09m를 기록해 금메달을 획득했다. 카누에서는 주명희(지체)가 여자 카약 200m 스프린트 KL3(선수부)에서 1분 13초 41의 기록으로 우승했다.
남자 5인제 축구 B1(선수부)에 출전한 인천 전맹축구팀은 결승전에서 경기도에 0대2로 패해 준우승을 차지했다.
인천장애인체육회 관계자는 "선수들의 투혼과 도전이 인천의 자긍심으로 이어지고 있다"며 "마지막 날까지 금빛 레이스를 이어가면서 이번 대회를 성공적으로 마무리하겠다"고 밝혔다.

On this day, athletics track athlete Shin Woo-jin (visual impairment) won a gold medal with a record of 25.92 seconds in the men's 200m T12 (athletes division), achieving the honor of triple crown in this competition.
