한세대학교가 경기도의료원과 함께 젊은 여성 대상 유방암 조기검진 사업을 실시했다.
한세대학교는 3일 경기도의료원과 2025 경기 핑크리본 여성 유방암 검진 사업을 재학생과 지역주민을 대상으로 본관 부스에서 실시했다고 밝혔다.
◆ 20~30대 유방암 증가에 심리적 부담 적은 혈액검사 도입
이번 검진은 최근 20~30대 젊은 여성층에서 유방암 발병률이 꾸준히 증가하고 있지만, 젊은 여성들이 방사선 노출 우려나 영상 검진 방식에 대한 심리적 부담으로 정기 검진을 미루는 경우가 많은 점을 고려해 준비됐다.
경기도의료원은 젊은 세대 특성을 고려해 간편하고 신체적 부담이 적은 채혈을 통한 혈액검사 프로그램 '마스토체크(MASTOCHECK)' 검진 방식을 도입해 학생들이 부담 없이 검사에 참여할 수 있도록 했다.
◆ 경기도 예산 지원으로 검사비 12만원→3천원
경기도의료원 관계자는 "혈액검사를 통해 질병을 조기에 발견하고 예방하는 사업으로 경기도 예산 지원으로 부담스러울 수 있는 12만원가량의 검사 비용이 3천원으로 대폭 완화된 것이 특징"이라고 설명했다.
대학 홈페이지와 홍보 포스터 QR코드를 통해 약 200명의 재학생과 지역 주민들이 자발적으로 참여해 유방 검진을 받았다. 검진 결과는 개별 참여자에게 통보되며 이상 소견 발견 시 경기의료원에서 정밀 유방 초음파검사를 무료로 받을 수 있도록 상담 및 안내가 제공될 예정이다.

About 200 students and local residents voluntarily participated in breast screening through the university website and promotional poster QR code. Screening results will be notified to individual participants, and if abnormalities are found, consultation and guidance will be provided to receive free detailed breast ultrasound examination at Gyeonggi Medical Center.
