인천시는 11월 4일부터 5일까지 서울 코엑스에서 열리는 '2025 블록체인 진흥주간 × 웹3.0 콘퍼런스'에 참가한다고 5일 밝혔다.
◆ 52개 전시부스 운영... 3대 블록체인 거점도시 참여
과학기술정보통신부가 주최하고 한국인터넷진흥원과 정보통신기획평가원이 공동 주관하는 이번 행사는 '디지털 신뢰로 만드는 가치 생태계, 블록체인과 웹3.0'을 주제로 진행된다. 인천시를 포함한 3대 블록체인 거점도시와 주요 기관·기업이 52개 전시 홍보부스를 운영한다.
행사장에서는 기업설명회, 학술대회, 성과발표회, 취업설명회, 법률상담회 등이 열린다.
◆ 블록체인 기업 지원 7개 사업 선보여
인천시는 송도 국제도시에 위치한 인천 블록체인 기술혁신지원센터를 통해 추진하는 지원 사업을 소개한다. 주요 내용은 기술 개발 지원, 산업 내재화 컨설팅, 솔루션 도입 바우처 지원, 글로벌 진출 지원, 블록체인 거버넌스 운영, 인재 양성 칼리지, 센터 입주 지원 등 7개 사업이다.
◆ '인천전자지갑' 앱으로 전자증명서 보관·제출
시는 블록체인 기반 모바일 공공서비스 '인천전자지갑(가칭)' 앱을 공개한다. 이 앱은 시민이 전자증명서를 스마트폰에 보관하고 제출할 수 있다. 디지털 인천시민카드, 다자녀카드 등 비대면 자격확인 서비스도 제공한다.
시는 이 앱을 통해 시민이 공공서비스와 지원 혜택을 간편하게 이용할 수 있을 것으로 내다봤다.
◆ 맞춤형 컨설팅·바우처 지원... 인천형 특화사업 소개
인천 홍보관에서는 블록체인 기술 도입을 위한 산업 내재화 맞춤형 컨설팅, 솔루션 도입 바우처 지원사업, 수능 이후 수험생 대상 블록체인 교육 프로그램 등 인천 특화 사업을 선보인다.
시 지원을 받는 7개 블록체인 기업이 전시 부스를 운영한다. 사전 선정된 유망 기업 2곳은 투자유치 기업설명회에 참여해 국내외 투자자에게 기술 경쟁력을 홍보한다.
김진환 인천시 디지털산업과장은 "블록체인 기술은 인공지능 시대의 불투명성을 해소하고 디지털 신뢰 사회를 구축하는 핵심 동력이 될 것"이라며 "인천시는 블록체인 글로벌 진출 거점으로서 국제 경쟁력을 갖춘 기업을 육성하고 블록체인 산업 생태계 활성화를 위한 정책을 추진하겠다"고 밝혔다.

Incheon City, along with the three major blockchain hub cities, and key institutions and companies will operate 52 exhibition and promotional booths.
The venue will host corporate briefings, academic conferences, performance presentations, job fairs, and legal consultations.
◆ Showcases Seven Blockchain Business Support Programs
Incheon City will introduce support projects promoted through the Incheon Blockchain Technology Innovation Support Center located in Songdo International City. The main programs include technology development support, industry internalization consulting, solution adoption voucher support, global expansion support, blockchain governance operation, talent development college, and center residency support—seven projects in total.
◆ 'Incheon Electronic Wallet' App Stores and Submits Electronic Certificates
The city will unveil the blockchain-based mobile public service 'Incheon Electronic Wallet (tentative name)' app. This app allows citizens to store and submit electronic certificates on their smartphones. It also provides non-face-to-face qualification verification services such as digital Incheon Citizen Card and Multi-Child Card.
The city expects that citizens will be able to conveniently use public services and support benefits through this app.
◆ Customized Consulting and Voucher Support... Introduces Incheon-Specific Specialized Projects
The Incheon promotional hall will showcase Incheon's specialized projects, including customized consulting for industry internalization to adopt blockchain technology, voucher support programs for solution adoption, and blockchain education programs for students who have completed the college entrance exam.
Seven blockchain companies receiving support from the city will operate exhibition booths. Two pre-selected promising companies will participate in the investment attraction IR session to promote their technological competitiveness to domestic and international investors.
Kim Jin-hwan, Director of Incheon City's Digital Industry Division, stated, "Blockchain technology will become a core driving force for resolving the opacity of the artificial intelligence era and building a digitally trustworthy society," adding, "Incheon City will actively foster companies with international competitiveness as a blockchain global expansion hub and promote various policies to activate the blockchain industry ecosystem."
