인천연구원과 인천학회가 1월 8일 제물포 상상플랫폼에서 원도심 재생과 워터프런트 활성화 방안을 논의한다.

◆ 현장 중심 정책 대화 시작

인천연구원은 올해부터 '인천연구원, 현장동행 정책대화' 사업을 연간 30회 추진한다. 최계운 원장은 "제물포의 가치 재창조에 대한 시민 공감대를 형성하고, 워터프런트 활성화를 위한 거버넌스를 구축하는 계기가 되길 기대한다"고 밝혔다. 인천광역시, 인천관광공사, 인천도시공사가 행사를 후원한다.

◆ 발표와 토론 진행

김경배 인천학회 회장이 '제물포 르네상스 연계 원도심 가치 재창조'를 발표한다. 기윤환 인천연구원 선임연구위원이 '원도심의 워터프런트 도입 제안'을 주제로 발표한다. 조오상 인천광역시 정무조정담당관, 윤희청 관광마이스과장, 소연수 인천관광공사 송도컨벤시아사업단장, 안병민 인천도시공사 도시재생본부장, 김천권 인하대학교 명예교수, 전찬기 인천대학교 명예교수, 윤혜영 인천연구원 연구위원, 김칭우 인천일보 편집국장이 토론에 참여한다.

◆ 첫 번째 현장 정책 세미나

세미나는 유지상 인천관광공사 사장의 축사로 시작한다. 이번 행사는 인천연구원이 시민과 함께 현장에 기반한 정책을 개발하기 위해 시도하는 첫 번째 행사다. 인천학회와 인천연구원이 공동으로 주최한다.

◆ Field-Centered Policy Dialogue Begins

The Incheon Research Institute launches the "Incheon Research Institute, Field Companion Policy Dialogue" project with 30 sessions annually this year. Director Choi Gye-woon stated, "We expect this to serve as an opportunity to form civic consensus on recreating Jemulpo's value and establish governance for waterfront activation." Incheon Metropolitan City, Incheon Tourism Organization, and Incheon Urban Corporation sponsor the event.

◆ Presentations and Discussions Proceed

Kim Kyung-bae, president of Incheon Studies Association, presents "Old Downtown Value Recreation Linked to Jemulpo Renaissance." Ki Yoon-hwan, senior research fellow at Incheon Research Institute, presents on "Proposal for Introducing Waterfront to Old Downtown." Jo Oh-sang, Political Affairs Coordination Officer of Incheon Metropolitan City, Yoon Hee-chung, Tourism MICE Division Director, So Yeon-soo, Songdo Convencia Business Division Director of Incheon Tourism Organization, Ahn Byung-min, Urban Regeneration Division Director of Incheon Urban Corporation, Kim Cheon-kwon, Professor Emeritus at Inha University, Jeon Chan-ki, Professor Emeritus at Incheon University, Yoon Hye-young, Research Fellow at Incheon Research Institute, and Kim Ching-woo, Editor-in-Chief of Incheon Ilbo, participate in the discussion.

◆ First Field Policy Seminar

The seminar begins with congratulatory remarks from Yoo Ji-sang, president of Incheon Tourism Organization. This event marks the first attempt by the Incheon Research Institute to develop field-based policies with citizens. The Incheon Studies Association and Incheon Research Institute jointly host the seminar.
