부평구는 통행금지 구역임을 알리는 안내표지판을 설치한다. 부평구는 홍보와 계도를 먼저 실시한다. 관할 경찰은 계도 기간 이후 단속에 나선다. 금지 시간대에 개인형 이동장치를 이용한 사람에게는 범칙금이 부과된다.
◆ 유동 인구 많은 지역 이용 자제 당부
부평구 관계자는 "이번 조치가 사고 예방에 큰 역할을 하길 바란다"고 밝혔다. 해당 관계자는 "유동 인구가 많은 지역에서는 개인형 이동장치 이용을 가급적 삼가 달라"고 당부했다.
