◆ 152개 기관 중 최고점 1위 차지

장원삼 코이카 이사장은 "대한민국 무상원조 대표 기관으로서 최고 수준 정보보안을 유지한다는 데 자부심과 책임감을 느낀다"고 밝혔다. 장 이사장은 "정보보안 관리체계를 지속 개선하고 인공지능 환경 변화에 따른 새로운 보안 위협에 선제 대응하겠다"고 강조했다. 코이카는 이번 평가 결과를 토대로 공적개발원조(ODA) 대표 기관으로서 책무를 이행한다는 방침이다.

KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) ranked first in the '2025 National and Public Institution Cybersecurity Status Evaluation' hosted by the National Intelligence Service. KOICA announced the results on January 7. KOICA recorded the highest score of 94.75 points among 152 evaluated organizations. KOICA obtained the comprehensive 'Excellent' grade (highest grade). KOICA achieved the highest grade for five consecutive years since 2021.

◆ Strengthens Management System Through Information Security Team Establishment

KOICA reorganized internal regulations and upgraded inspection systems after establishing the Information Security Team. KOICA continuously promoted information security and personal information protection awareness activities for employees. KOICA operates a 24-hour cybersecurity monitoring center. KOICA Chairman Jang Won-sam stated, "We feel pride and responsibility in maintaining the highest level of information security as Korea's representative grant aid organization." Chairman Jang emphasized, "We will continuously improve the information security management system and proactively respond to new security threats from AI-driven environmental changes." KOICA plans to fulfill its responsibilities as the representative Official Development Assistance (ODA) organization based on the evaluation results.
