◆ 교육위원회, 2026년도 예산안 심사 완료

2026년도 인천시교육청 본예산은 총 5조2887억800만 원이다. 이는 전년도 예산액 대비 88억2100만 원(0.2%) 감소한 규모다. 세출 예산 중 인건비와 복지비 등 경직성 경비가 78%를 차지한다. 교수학습활동지원과 학교시설여건개선 항목은 크게 축소됐다. 교육위원회 소속 의원들은 "경직성 경비 증가와 경기둔화에 따른 세입 감소로 정책 유연성이 크게 위축됐다"고 지적했다. 의원들은 "중복 사업 정비와 현장 중심 정책 전환을 통해 제한된 재원 속에서도 교육서비스의 질을 유지해야 한다"고 강조했다.
◆ 이용창 위원장 "현장 중심 예산 편성 필요"
