◆ 행안부 평가서 우수기관 선정
인천 동구가 행정안전부 주관 '2025년 지역사랑상품권 평가'에서 자치단체 분야 우수기관으로 선정됐다. 동구는 이번 선정으로 특별교부세 2억원을 확보했다고 밝혔다. 행안부는 전국 192개 지방자치단체를 대상으로 2025년 집행 실적 등을 종합 심사해 동구를 우수기관으로 선정했다.
◆ 올해 국비 3억7500만원 확보
동구는 지난 9월에도 국비 1억7500만원을 교부받았다. 2025년 한 해 동안 총 3억7500만원의 국비를 확보했다. 동구는 지역경제 활성화를 위해 동구사랑상품권 특별 할인 판매를 진행하고 국비를 적극 요청하는 등 운영과 실적에서 성과를 거뒀다.
◆ 소상공인·주민 혜택 기대
김찬진 동구청장은 "경기 침체로 어려움을 겪는 지역 경제를 살리고 물가 상승으로 인한 주민 가계 부담을 덜기 위해 지속적인 사업을 진행하겠다"며 "이번 국비 확보로 더 많은 소상공인과 주민이 혜택을 받을 수 있기를 기대한다"고 말했다.

◆ Selected as Excellent Organization in Ministry Evaluation
Incheon Dong-gu was selected as an excellent organization in the local government category in the '2025 Local Love Gift Certificate Evaluation' hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. Dong-gu announced that it secured 200 million won in special grant tax through this selection. The Ministry of the Interior and Safety comprehensively evaluated 192 local governments nationwide on their 2025 execution performance and selected Dong-gu as an excellent organization.
◆ Secures 375 Million Won in State Funds This Year
Dong-gu also received 175 million won in state funds last September. The district secured a total of 375 million won in state funds throughout 2025. Dong-gu achieved results in operation and performance by conducting special discount sales of Dong-gu Love Gift Certificates to revitalize the local economy and actively requesting state funds.
◆ Benefits Expected for Small Business Owners and Residents
Dong-gu Mayor Kim Chan-jin said, "We will continue projects to revive the local economy struggling from the economic downturn and ease the household burden on residents caused by rising prices. I expect more small business owners and residents to benefit from this state funding."
