◆ 서울대 2026학년도 수시 합격

이부진 호텔신라 사장의 장남 임동현군이 서울대 수시모집 전형에 합격했다. 11일 서울대학교 등에 따르면 임군은 이날 발표된 서울대 2026학년도 수시모집 합격자 명단에 이름을 올렸다. 합격자 등록 기간은 12월 15일부터 17일까지다. 최종 등록을 마치면 임군은 서울대 경제학부 26학번으로 입학한다.

◆ 이재용 회장의 서울대 후배

임군이 입학하면 삼촌 이재용 삼성전자 회장의 서울대 후배가 된다. 이재용 회장은 서울대 동양사학과 87학번이다. 앞서 임군은 2026학년도 대학수학능력시험에서 높은 점수를 받아 이목을 끌었다. 박선영 진실·화해를위한과거사정리위원회 위원장이 12월 4일 소셜미디어에 게시한 내용에 따르면 임군은 수능에서 1개만 틀렸다.

◆ 국내 교육과정 이수와 최상위권 성적

임군은 초·중·고 교육과정을 국내에서 이수했다. 휘문중학교 재학 시절 전교 1등을 유지했다. 중·고교 시절 문과 전교 최상위권을 유지했고 수학 성적이 뛰어나 이과 전향설도 나왔다. 이부진 사장은 아들 교육을 위해 2018년 서울 용산구 이태원동에서 강남구 대치동으로 주소를 옮겼다. 임군은 휘문중·휘문고를 졸업했다. 이부진 사장은 최근 이태원 일대로 주소지를 다시 이전했다.

◆ Domestic Education and Top-Ranking Performance

Lim completed his elementary, middle, and high school education in Korea. He maintained the top rank at Whimoon Middle School. Throughout middle and high school, he stayed at the top of the humanities track, and rumors of switching to the science track emerged due to his excellent math scores. President Lee Boo-jin moved her address from Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, in 2018 for her son's education. Lim graduated from Whimoon Middle School and Whimoon High School. President Lee Boo-jin recently moved her address back to the Itaewon area.
