◆발사 2시간 전부터 해상 통항 전면 차단

여수해양경찰서는 27일 오전 1시 발사 예정인 한국형 발사체 누리호 4차 발사를 앞두고 나로우주센터 주변 해상 통제를 실시한다고 25일 밝혔다. 여수해경은 발사 2시간 전부터 발사 후 10분까지 해상 통제구역 내 선박 통항을 전면 차단한다. 해상 통제구역은 나로우주센터 발사대 중심 반경 3㎞ 앞바다와 누리호 비행 항로상 해역으로 폭 24㎞, 길이 78㎞ 구간이다. 여수해경은 발사체 낙하 등 긴급 상황에 대비해 통제구역을 설정했다.

◆경비함정 27척 배치...동절기·야간 첫 발사 대비

여수해경은 경비함정 21척을 투입하고 해군함정 2척, 해양수산부(남해어업관리단) 지도선 2척, 지자체(여수·고흥) 지도선 2척 등 총 27척을 배치한다. 누리호 4차 발사는 동절기·야간 첫 발사 사례로 여수해경은 기상악화와 야간 임무 수행에 대비해 대형 경비함정을 추가 배치했다. 여수해경은 연료유 유출 대비 전담 탐지함도 배치했다.

25일 한국항공우주연구원에 따르면 오전 9시부터 한국형발사체(누리호)의 발사대 이송을 시작했다. 발사대 도착 이후에는 기립 준비 과정을 거쳐 발사대에 기립하게 된다.

◆여수해경 "해상 안전 통제 최선"

여수해경 관계자는 "누리호가 성공적으로 발사될 수 있도록 해상안전통제에 최선을 다할 예정"이라며 "인근 주민과 해양 종사자들은 해상 통제에 적극 협조해 달라"고 요청했다.

The Yeosu Coast Guard will deploy 21 patrol vessels along with 2 Navy vessels, 2 guidance vessels from the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (South Sea Fisheries Management Service), and 2 local government guidance vessels (Yeosu and Goheung), totaling 27 vessels. As the Nuri 4th launch represents the first winter night launch case, the Yeosu Coast Guard additionally deployed large patrol vessels in preparation for weather deterioration and nighttime operations. The Yeosu Coast Guard also deployed dedicated detection vessels in case of fuel oil spills.

A Yeosu Coast Guard official stated, "We plan to do our best for maritime safety control so that Nuri can be successfully launched," requesting "nearby residents and maritime workers to actively cooperate with maritime control."
