군포시의회가 19일 제284회 임시회를 폐회하고 의원 발의 15건을 포함한 총 40건의 조례 및 기타안건을 처리했다.

군포시의회(의장 김귀근)는 4일부터 16일간 운영된 이번 임시회에서 3개 상임위원회(의회운영, 행정복지, 산업건설)를 통해 자치법규 등을 심의·의결했다고 밝혔다.

◆ 2026년 주요업무보고 청취, 사업 개선 의견 제시

시의원들은 2026년 군포시 주요업무보고를 청취하고 앞으로 펼쳐질 다양한 시정 활동의 시기와 재정 투입 계획의 적합성을 확인했다.

시의회는 주요업무보고 청취가 오는 12월 시행될 2026년도 본예산안 심의를 사전에 점검하는 의미가 있어 매우 중요한 의사일정이라며, 다양한 사업에 대한 개선 의견을 제시했다고 설명했다.

◆ "사업비 추계 정확성 제고" 주문

이번 임시회에서는 2025년도 제3회 군포시 추가경정예산안도 심의됐다.

시의원들은 공통으로 사업비 추계를 더 정확히 할 것을 주문하며 "예산이 부족하다고 말하던 시가 이번 추경으로 감액하는 예산이 무척 많다"고 지적했다.

이어 "인건비 산정 시 정원이 아닌 현원 기준으로 필요 예산을 편성하는 등 행정을 개선하면 예산 활용에 도움이 될 것"이라고 강조했다.

김귀근 의장은 "시의원들은 군포시민의 더 나은 내일을 실현하겠다는 마음으로 매번 회기에 임한다"며 "오는 12월 열릴 제285회 정례회에서 진행될 2026년도 예산안 심의도 최선을 다할 것을 약속드린다"고 말했다.

군포시의회 제285회 정례회는 12월 1일부터 18일까지 진행될 예정이다.

Receives 2026 Major Business Report, Reviews Supplementary Budget

Gunpo City Council closed its 284th special session on the 19th, processing a total of 40 ordinances and other agenda items, including 15 proposed by council members.

Gunpo City Council (Chairman Kim Gwi-geun) announced that during this special session, which ran for 16 days from the 4th, it deliberated and resolved on autonomous regulations through three standing committees (Council Operations, Administrative Welfare, and Industrial Construction).

◆ Receives 2026 Major Business Report, Presents Improvement Recommendations

Council members received the 2026 Gunpo City major business report and confirmed the appropriateness of the timing of various municipal activities to be implemented and financial investment plans.

The city council explained that receiving the major business report is a very important agenda item as it serves to pre-examine the deliberation of the 2026 main budget proposal to be implemented in December, and thus presented improvement opinions on various projects.

◆ Orders "Enhanced Accuracy in Project Cost Estimation"

During this special session, the 2025 3rd Supplementary Budget of Gunpo City was also reviewed.

Council members commonly ordered more accurate project cost estimation, pointing out that "the city, which had been saying the budget was insufficient, is reducing a great deal of budget through this supplementary budget."

They emphasized that "improving administration, such as organizing the necessary budget based on actual staff numbers rather than authorized positions when calculating personnel costs, would help in budget utilization."

Regarding this, Chairman Kim Gwi-geun stated, "Council members approach each session with the intention of realizing a better tomorrow for Gunpo citizens," adding, "We promise to do our best in deliberating the 2026 budget proposal to be conducted at the 285th regular session in December."

The 285th regular session of Gunpo City Council is scheduled to run from December 1 to 18.
