◆ 중·고교 교사 100명 대상 2차 연수 완료
인천광역시교육청은 10월 23일부터 11월 6일까지 중·고등학교 교사 100여 명을 대상으로 '2025학년도 중등 진로교육 역량강화 연수(2차)'를 운영했다고 11월 7일 밝혔다. 교육청은 8월부터 9월까지 진행한 1차 연수에 이어 교사의 진로교육 전문성을 높이고 학생에게 체계적인 진로지도를 제공하기 위해 이번 연수를 마련했다.
◆ 2022 개정교육과정·진로상담 등 실습 중심 구성
연수는 2022 개정교육과정과 진로연계교육의 이해, 진로수업 우수사례 및 실습, 학교생활기록부 진로역량 기록, 지역 고입 경향 분석, 진로심리검사 해석 및 상담기법, 학생 유형별 진로상담 사례 등 현장 중심의 실습형 프로그램으로 구성됐다. 참가 교사는 "현장 적용이 가능한 내용이 많아 매우 유익했다"며 "학생의 진로 설계에 적극 활용하겠다"고 말했다.
◆ "학생 맞춤형 진로교육은 교사 전문성에서 출발"
인천시교육청 관계자는 "학생 맞춤형 진로교육은 교사의 전문성에서 출발한다"며 "학생의 삶과 배움이 연결되는 교육이 실현되도록 적극 지원하겠다"고 밝혔다. 교육감 도성훈은 교사의 역량 강화를 통해 학생 중심 진로교육을 확대한다는 방침이다.

The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced on November 7 that it operated the "2025 Academic Year Secondary Career Education Competency Enhancement Training (2nd Session)" for approximately 100 middle and high school teachers from October 23 to November 6. The Office of Education prepared this training following the first session held from August to September to enhance teachers' career education expertise and provide systematic career guidance to students.
◆ Practical Training Focused on 2022 Revised Curriculum and Career Counseling
The training consisted of field-centered practical programs including understanding the 2022 Revised Curriculum and career-linked education, best practices and hands-on activities for career classes, recording career competencies in school records, analysis of regional high school admission trends, interpretation of career psychological tests and counseling techniques, and case studies of career counseling by student type. A participating teacher said, "It was very beneficial as there was much content applicable to the field," adding, "I will actively utilize it in students' career planning."

An official from the Incheon Office of Education stated, "Customized career education for students starts with teacher expertise," adding, "We will actively support the realization of education that connects students' lives and learning." Superintendent Do Seong-hoon maintains the policy of expanding student-centered career education through teacher competency enhancement.
