◆인명 피해 없어...소방당국, 화재 원인 조사 중

인천국제공항 제2여객터미널 장기주차장에 세워진 전기화물차에서 불이 나 인근 차량 2대가 함께 불타는 피해가 발생했다.

5일 인천소방본부에 따르면 이날 오후 4시29분께 인천 중구 인천국제공항 제2여객터미널 장기주차장에 주차된 마사다밴에서 화재가 발생했다. 신고를 받은 소방당국은 인력 41명과 장비 17대를 동원해 이날 오후 4시48분께 불을 완전히 진화했다.

이 불로 인명 피해는 없었다. 그러나 마사다밴과 양옆에 주차된 차량 2대까지 총 3대가 타는 재산 피해가 발생했다.

◆화염·연기 피어오르며 동일 신고 11건 접수

화재 당시 주차된 차량에서 화염과 연기가 피어오르면서 소방당국에 동일 화재 신고 11건이 접수됐다. 앞서 "차량에서 불이 났다"는 119신고가 처음 접수됐다.

소방당국 관계자는 "정확한 화재 원인과 재산 피해 규모를 조사 중"이라고 말했다.

A fire authority official said, "We are investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of property damage."
