인천국제공항공사가 인천공항 AI 대전환(AX·AI Transformation)을 전담하는 '인공지능(AI) 혁신 TF팀'을 발족했다고 31일 밝혔다. 사장 이학재가 발표했다.
◆ 4개 분야 전담 조직 구성
신설 조직은 인천공항 서비스 및 운영 전반에 인공지능을 체계적으로 도입하고 전 부서 간 긴밀한 협업을 주도한다.
조직은 기획, 도입·활용, 인프라·데이터, 윤리·보안 4개 분야로 구성된다. 국민체감형 AIriport(에어아이포트) 전략 수립, AI 인프라 및 데이터 통합 플랫폼 개발, AI 기술 연구 및 효과성 분석, AI 윤리체계 고도화 및 보안 강화 등을 수행한다.
◆ 킥오프 회의 개최, AI 전환 논의
공사는 30일 킥오프(Kick-off) 회의를 열었다. AX 조직 운영방안을 논의했다. AI 전환과 공공기관의 역할에 대한 전문가 초청 특강도 진행했다.
◆ 실무 인재 양성 및 협업체계 구축
공사는 인공지능 실무 인재를 양성한다. 타 공공기관 간 AI 협업체계를 구축해 인공지능 전환 기반을 갖춘다는 계획이다.
이학재 인천공항공사 사장은 "전담 조직 마련으로 AI를 활용한 공항 서비스 혁신에 박차를 가할 것"이라며 "대한민국 대표 공공기관으로서 정부의 AI 대전환 정책에 적극 협조해 국민들이 체감할 수 있는 변화를 만들어가겠다"고 밝혔다.

The corporation held a kick-off meeting on the 30th. It discussed AX organization operation plans. A special lecture by experts on AI transformation and the role of public institutions was also conducted.
◆ Practical Talent Development and Collaborative System Establishment
The corporation will cultivate practical AI talent. It plans to establish foundations for AI transformation by building AI collaboration systems with other public institutions.
Lee Hak-jae, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, stated, "Through this dedicated organization, we expect to accelerate airport service innovation utilizing AI," adding, "As a representative public institution of the Republic of Korea, we will actively cooperate with the government's AI transformation policy to create changes that citizens can experience."
