이태원 참사 3주기를 맞아 29일 오전 10시29분 서울 종로구 광화문 북광장에서 정부 첫 공식 추모식이 열린다.
이태원 참사 유가족협의회와 시민대책회의는 행정안전부, 서울시와 공동으로 기억식을 개최한다고 28일 밝혔다.
'별들과 함께, 진실과 정의로'를 주제로 열리는 이번 행사에는 정부 초청으로 방한한 외국인 희생자 유가족 46명을 포함해 국내외 유족 약 300여명이 참석한다.
추모식에서는 희생자 추모를 위한 사이렌이 오전 10시29분부터 1분간 서울 전역에서 울린다.
우원식 국회의장, 송기춘 이태원 참사 특별조사위원회 위원장, 노르웨이 희생자 유가족 등이 추모 발언을 한다.
이재명 대통령은 한미정상회담 일정으로 참석이 어려워 영상으로 추모사를 전한다.

The government's first official memorial ceremony will be held at 10:29 a.m. on the 29th at Gwanghwamun North Plaza in Jongno-gu, Seoul, marking the third anniversary of the Itaewon tragedy.
The Itaewon Tragedy Bereaved Families Council and Citizens' Response Committee announced on the 28th that they will hold a memorial ceremony jointly with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and Seoul City.
Approximately 300 domestic and foreign bereaved families will attend the event under the theme "With the Stars, Through Truth and Justice," including 46 foreign victim family members invited by the government.
A siren to commemorate the victims will sound throughout Seoul for one minute starting at 10:29 a.m.
National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik, Special Investigation Committee Chairman Song Ki-chun, and bereaved families of Norwegian victims will deliver memorial remarks.
President Lee Jae-myung will deliver a memorial address via video due to the Korea-U.S. summit schedule.
