인천시 남동구는 최근 구청 부설주차장에서 열린 '2025 주민자치 한마당'이 지역주민의 높은 관심과 참여 속에 성황리에 마무리됐다고 28일 밝혔다.
올해로 두 번째를 맞이한 이번 행사는 '남동의 가을, 주민자치로 물들이다'라는 표어 아래 남동구 20개 동 주민자치회가 한자리에 모여 다양한 체험과 공연으로 꾸며졌다. 인천시립장애인예술단의 식전 공연은 완성도 높은 연주와 감동적인 메시지로 큰 박수를 받으며 축제의 분위기를 한층 끌어올렸다.
행사장에서는 각 동 주민자치회가 준비한 홍보부스와 60여 종의 다양한 체험프로그램이 운영됐다. 주민자치회의 활동 성과를 공유하고 구민들이 직접 참여하며 소통할 수 있는 기회를 제공했다. 또한, 주민자치센터 동아리 경연대회를 통해 각 동의 특색 있는 문화와 끼를 선보이며 행사장을 찾은 관람객들의 큰 호응을 얻었다. 이번 행사는 도림초, 논현중, 고잔고 등 지역 학교와 연계한 청소년 동아리 공연, 장애인합창단 '예그리나'의 무대, 지역 예술인의 버스킹 등 다양한 주민 공연이 함께 펼쳐졌다. 신한은행 남동구청지점에서 어려운 이웃을 위한 200만 원의 후원금을 기탁했다.
박종효 구청장은 "이번 주민자치 한마당은 주민이 중심이 돼 지역사회를 함께 만들어가는 남동구의 자치 역량을 보여준 뜻깊은 자리였다"며 "앞으로도 주민이 행복하고 소통이 살아있는 남동구를 만들기 위해 지속적으로 지원하겠다"고 말했다. 임태헌 주민자치협의회장은 "남동구의 20개 동 주민자치회가 한마음으로 준비한 이번 행사는 각 동의 개성과 활동을 공유하며 서로 배우는 값진 시간이 됐다"며 "주민이 직접 참여하고 성장하는 자치문화가 정착될 수 있도록 협의회가 중심에서 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다. 남동구 주민자치 한마당은 주민자치회의 활동 성과를 공유하고 구민 간 소통과 화합을 도모하기 위해 매년 개최하는 행사다.

This event, now in its second year, was organized under the slogan 'Namdong's Autumn, Colored by Residents' Autonomy,' bringing together residents' autonomy councils from 20 dongs in Namdong-gu with various experiences and performances. The pre-ceremony performance by the Incheon Metropolitan City Disabled Performing Arts Group received great applause for its high-quality performance and moving message, elevating the festival atmosphere.
At the event venue, promotional booths prepared by each dong residents' autonomy council and about 60 types of various experience programs were operated. It provided opportunities to share the activity achievements of residents' autonomy councils and for residents to participate directly and communicate. Additionally, through the residents' autonomy center club competition, each dong showcased its unique culture and talents, receiving great responses from visitors to the event venue. This event featured various resident performances including youth club performances in collaboration with local schools such as Dorim Elementary, Nonhyeon Middle School, and Gojan High School, the stage of the disabled choir 'Yegrina,' and busking by local artists. Shinhan Bank Namdong District Office Branch donated 2 million won for neighbors in need.
District Mayor Park Jong-hyo stated, "This residents' autonomy festival was a meaningful occasion that demonstrated Namdong-gu's autonomy capacity in which residents are at the center of creating the local community together," adding, "We will continue to provide support to create a Namdong-gu where residents are happy and communication is alive." Residents' Autonomy Council Chairman Lim Tae-heon stated, "This event prepared with one heart by the residents' autonomy councils of 20 dongs in Namdong-gu was a valuable time to share the individuality and activities of each dong and learn from each other," adding, "The council will do its best at the center to establish an autonomous culture where residents directly participate and grow." Meanwhile, the Namdong-gu Residents' Autonomy Festival is an event held annually to share the activity achievements of residents' autonomy councils and promote communication and harmony among residents.
