인천광역시교육청은 25일 인천평생학습관에서 '2025 학부모 읽걷쓰 어울림마당'을 개최했다. 시교육청은 학부모와 교직원, 학생이 함께 참여했다고 밝혔다.
올해 10주년을 맞은 이번 행사는 '열 번째 함께한 걸음, 더 큰 내일로!'를 주제로 진행됐다. 시교육청은 학부모가 학교와 함께 걸어온 참여 여정을 되돌아보고 '읽걷쓰' 실천을 통한 교육공동체의 변화 성과를 공유하는 자리를 마련했다.
행사에서는 학부모동아리 공연과 사례 발표, 학부모 참여 활동 영상 상영이 진행됐다. 시교육청은 학부모가 직접 참여한 사례나눔집 '학교와 가정을 잇는 학교참여, 학부모의 읽걷쓰 이야기'를 제작해 배부했다.
시교육청은 가족이 함께 즐길 수 있는 체험형 놀이마당을 운영했다.
도성훈 교육감은 "학부모의 작은 참여가 학교의 변화를 만들고, 학교의 변화가 인천교육의 미래를 밝히고 있다"며 "읽걷쓰 실천 속에서 학부모와 학교가 함께 성장하는 인천형 교육공동체가 확산되길 기대한다"고 밝혔다.
시교육청은 2010년부터 학부모 학교참여 지원사업을 추진해 왔다. 현재 534개교를 대상으로 학부모회와 학부모·아버지·놀이동아리 활동을 지원하고 있다.

The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education held the '2025 Parents' Read-Walk-Write Harmony Festival' at the Incheon Lifelong Learning Center on the 25th. The office announced that parents, faculty members, and students participated together.
This year's event, marking its 10th anniversary, was held under the theme 'The Tenth Step Together, Toward a Greater Tomorrow.' The office prepared this event to reflect on the journey of parent participation with schools and share the achievements of changes in the educational community through 'read-walk-write' practice.
The event featured parent club performances, case presentations, and video screenings of parent participation activities. The office produced and distributed a case-sharing book titled 'School Participation Connecting Schools and Homes: Parents' Read-Walk-Write Stories,' featuring direct parent participation.
The office operated an experiential play festival that families could enjoy together.
Superintendent Do Seong-hoon stated, "Small participation by parents creates changes in schools, and school changes brighten the future of Incheon education," adding, "I expect the Incheon-style educational community, where parents and schools grow together through read-walk-write practice, to spread further."
The office has been promoting parent school participation support projects since 2010. Currently, it supports parent associations and parent, father, and play club activities at 534 schools.
