군포시는 시민고충처리위원회 위원 위촉식을 개최했다.
22일 시에 따르면 지난 10월 17일 군포시청에서 대회의실에서 진행된 시민고충처리위원회는 중립적 입장에서 시민이 제기한 고충 민원을 공정하고 독립적으로 조사·처리해 불합리한 행정제도를 개선하는 위원회라고 설명했다.
이번에 위촉된 시민고충처리위원은 변호사, 건축사, 세무사, 전 국민권익위원회 소속 서기관 등 각 분야 전문가 6명이다.
위원들은 4년의 임기 동안 행정기관의 위법·부당한 처분이나 불합리한 행정제도로 인해 발생하는 고충 민원을 조사한다. 시정 권고나 의견 제시 등을 통해 시민의 권익을 보호하는 역할을 수행한다.
군포시 시민고충처리위원회의 도움을 받고자 하는 시민은 고충처리위원회 사무실(군포시청 3층 감사실)을 방문하거나 우편으로 고충 민원을 신청하면 된다.
하은호 군포시장은 위촉식에서 "각 분야 전문가를 모신 만큼 역량을 발휘해 시민들의 고충 민원 처리에 적극적으로 노력해달라"며 "군포시는 시민에게 공감을 전할 수 있는 행정서비스를 제공하는 데 만전을 기할 것"이라고 밝혔다.

Gunpo City announced that it held an appointment ceremony for the Citizen Grievance Committee members at Gunpo City Hall on October 17.
The Citizen Grievance Committee is a committee that fairly and independently investigates and handles grievance complaints raised by citizens from a neutral standpoint to improve unreasonable administrative systems.
The newly appointed citizen grievance committee members are six experts from various fields, including lawyers, architects, tax accountants, and a former secretary from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
The members will investigate grievance complaints arising from illegal or unjust dispositions by administrative agencies or unreasonable administrative systems during their four-year term. They will protect citizens' rights through corrective recommendations and opinions.
Citizens who wish to receive help from the Gunpo City Citizen Grievance Committee can visit the Grievance Committee office (Audit Office on the 3rd floor of Gunpo City Hall) or apply for grievance complaints by mail.
Gunpo Mayor Ha Eun-ho stated at the appointment ceremony, "As we have experts from various fields, I ask you to actively work on handling citizens' grievance complaints by demonstrating your capabilities," and "Gunpo City will do its best to provide administrative services that can convey empathy to citizens."
