◆ 구월동 1501번지 일원 정비사업 마무리
인천시 남동구는 구월동 1501번지 일원 전재울근린공원의 맨발산책로 정비사업을 완료했다고 17일 밝혔다.
남동구는 8천만원의 예산을 투입해 지난 8월부터 9월까지 정비사업을 추진했다.
◆ 안전시설과 휴게시설 설치 요청 반영
전재울근린공원은 맨발산책을 즐기는 주민이 늘어남에 따라 안전시설 확충과 그늘막·벤치 등 휴게시설 설치 요청이 지속적으로 제기됐다.
사업을 통해 경사 구간에는 안전한 보행을 위한 난간을 설치했다. 그늘막과 나무의자 등 휴게시설을 확충해 이용객의 편의를 높였다.
산책로 주변에는 다양한 초화류를 심어 공원의 경관을 개선했다.
◆ "안전하고 쾌적한 환경 마련"
박종효 남동구청장은 "맨발산책로가 주민들의 힐링 공간으로 자리 잡고 있는 만큼, 이번 정비를 통해 더욱 안전하고 쾌적한 환경을 마련했다"며 "앞으로도 주민들의 편리하고 안전한 공원 이용을 위해 노력하겠다"고 밝혔다.

Various flowering plants were planted around the walking path to improve the park's landscape.

Namdong-gu District Mayor Park Jong-hyo stated, "As the barefoot walking path has become a healing space for residents, we have prepared a safer and more pleasant environment through this maintenance," adding, "We will continue to work for residents' convenient and safe use of the park."
