2025 경기국제보트쇼 거북섬 마리나 해상전시회’ 17~19일까지 열려
시흥시(시장 임병택)는 시화호 조성 31주년을 기념해 10월 17일부터 19일까지 3일간 ‘2025 경기국제보트쇼 시흥 거북섬 마리나 해상전시회’를 개최한다.
이번 전시는 해양레저 산업 발전과 시민 체험 기회 확대를 위해 거북섬 마리나를 해상 전시 중심 무대로 운영하며, 국내 다양한 업체가 참여해 보트 전시와 시승 체험, 현장 판매 등을 진행한다. 전시 시간은 17일 오후 1시부터 6시까지, 18일과 19일에는 오전 10시부터 오후 6시까지이다.
주요 행사인 육상 전시에서는 거북섬 마리나 육상 주정장 내 보트를 전시하고, 구매 희망자를 대상으로 해상 시승 체험과 보트 트레일링 체험이 진행된다. 또한 부대 행사로 거북섬 일대를 관광하는 ‘요트·보트 선상 투어’가 18일과 19일 양일간 운영되며, 사전 신청 50%, 현장 신청 50%로 진행된다. 사전 신청은 마감됐으며, 현장 신청은 행사 당일 오전 11시부터 선착순으로 참여할 수 있다. 참가자는 거북섬 내 음식점·카페·호텔 이용 영수증 1만 원 이상 지참이 필수다.
임병택 시흥시장은 “떠오르는 해양레저 중심지인 거북섬 시화호에서 시민들이 해양레저산업의 미래를 직접 보고 체험하는 기회가 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 해양도시로서의 위상을 강화하고 해양레저산업 발전을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

Siheung City to Host ‘2025 Gyeonggi International Boat Show’ at Turtle Island Marina
Three-day marine leisure exhibition offers citizens boat rides and on-board tours
Siheung City (Mayor Im Byung-taek) will host the ‘2025 Gyeonggi International Boat Show’ at Turtle Island Marina from October 17 to 19, celebrating the 31st anniversary of the creation of Sihwa Lake. The event aims to promote the marine leisure industry and expand citizen participation, featuring domestic companies displaying boats, offering test rides, and conducting on-site sales. Exhibition hours are 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on October 17 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 18–19.
The main land exhibition will display boats at the marina’s docking area, with test rides and boat trailing experiences available for prospective buyers. An additional program, the ‘Yacht & Boat On-board Tour,’ will operate on October 18–19, with 50% of participants pre-registered and 50% accepted on-site on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 11 a.m. on each day. Participants must present a receipt of 10,000 KRW or more from restaurants, cafes, or hotels on Turtle Island.
Mayor Im Byung-taek stated, “We hope citizens can directly experience the future of the marine leisure industry at Turtle Island, a rising hub of marine recreation. We will continue to strengthen the city’s status as a marine city and support the development of the marine leisure industry.”
