부평구 청천1동 주민자치회가 청천초등학교 앞에서 어린이 교통안전 봉사활동을 펼쳤다.

주민자치회는 2024년 12월 16일부터 2025년 1월 8일까지 24일간 등교 시간대에 교통안전 봉사를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

◆자발적 봉사 시작 배경

이번 활동은 교통약자 보호구역지킴이 활동이 12월 15일 조기 종료되면서 시작됐다. 주민자치위원들은 어린이 안전을 위해 자발적으로 봉사에 나섰다.

◆7개 지점 안전 지도

위원들은 학교 주변 차량 통행이 많은 7개 지점에서 안전보행 지도와 차량 교통 지도를 실시했다. 등교 시간대 어린이들의 안전한 통학을 지원했다.

◆지속적 활동 계획

청천1동 주민자치회는 지역 주민 안전과 공동체 돌봄을 위한 자율 봉사활동을 계속 추진할 계획이다.

주정하 청천1동장은 "주민자치위원들의 자발적 참여가 어린이 안전을 지키는 울타리가 되고 있다"며 "주민이 주도하는 마을 안전 활동을 적극 지원하겠다"고 말했다.

The Cheongcheon 1-dong Residents' Council in Bupyeong-gu conducted traffic safety volunteer activities for children in front of Cheongcheon Elementary School.

The Residents' Council announced that it carried out traffic safety volunteer work during school arrival hours for 24 days from December 16, 2024 to January 8, 2025.

◆Background of Voluntary Service

This activity began after the Traffic Vulnerable Zone Protection Guard activity ended early on December 15. The residents' council members voluntarily participated in the volunteer work for children's safety.

◆Safety Guidance at 7 Locations

The committee members conducted safe walking guidance and vehicle traffic guidance at seven locations around the school with heavy vehicle traffic. They supported safe commuting for children during school arrival hours.

◆Plans for Continued Activities

The Cheongcheon 1-dong Residents' Council plans to continue autonomous volunteer activities for local resident safety and community care.

Joo Jeong-ha, head of Cheongcheon 1-dong, said "The voluntary participation of residents' council members serves as a strong fence protecting children's safety" and added "We will actively support village safety activities led by residents."
