◆ LG헬로비전, 삼송MBN스튜디오 입주 완료
고양특례시는 7일 삼송MBN스튜디오를 방문해 최근 입주한 ㈜LG헬로비전을 환영했다고 밝혔다. 이동환 고양특례시장과 송구영 LG헬로비전 대표, 이동원 MBN매일방송 대표가 참석했다.
LG헬로비전은 2024년 12월 삼송MBN스튜디오 지식산업센터에 입주했다. LG그룹 계열사인 LG헬로비전은 유선방송과 초고속 정보통신망을 운영한다. 입주로 630여 명의 인력이 고양시에서 근무한다.
◆ 삼송MBN스튜디오, 미디어 산업 거점 역할
삼송MBN스튜디오는 ㈜매일방송이 건립했다. 2022년 7월 개관했으며 연면적 7만 1천㎡ 규모다. MBN을 비롯한 방송·미디어 기업들이 입주해 있다.
이동환 시장은 "LG헬로비전 이전은 지역 경제 활성화의 전환점"이라며 "첨단 산업과 ICT, 미디어 분야가 강화될 것"이라고 말했다. 이어 "LG헬로비전 입주를 도운 MBN에 감사한다"고 덧붙였다.
◆ 고양시, 지식산업센터 기업 유치 지속 추진
고양시는 지식산업센터와 협력관계를 구축했다. 입주 가능 업종을 확대하고 브로슈어를 제작해 기업 유치를 홍보했다.
시 관계자는 "지식산업센터는 기업에 사무 공간과 인프라를 제공한다"며 "LG헬로비전 이전은 고양시가 기업 성장 환경을 제공한다는 사실을 보여준다"고 설명했다. 시는 입주 업종 확대를 추가 검토하고 기업 맞춤형 정책을 추진할 계획이다.

◆ LG HelloVision Completes Move to Samsong MBN Studio
Goyang Special City announced on the 7th that it visited Samsong MBN Studio to welcome LG HelloVision, which recently moved in. Mayor Lee Dong-hwan, LG HelloVision CEO Song Gu-young, and MBN Maeil Broadcasting CEO Lee Dong-won attended.
LG HelloVision moved into the Samsong MBN Studio Knowledge Industrial Center in December 2024. LG HelloVision, an LG Group affiliate, operates cable broadcasting and high-speed information networks. Approximately 630 employees now work in Goyang City.
◆ Samsong MBN Studio Serves as Media Industry Hub
Maeil Broadcasting constructed Samsong MBN Studio. The facility opened in July 2022 with a total floor area of 71,000㎡. MBN and other broadcasting and media companies occupy the center.
Mayor Lee Dong-hwan stated, "LG HelloVision's relocation marks a turning point for regional economic revitalization" and added, "Advanced industries, ICT, and media sectors will be strengthened." He also expressed gratitude to MBN for facilitating LG HelloVision's move.
◆ Goyang City Continues Efforts to Attract Companies to Knowledge Industrial Centers
Goyang City established cooperative relationships with knowledge industrial centers. The city expanded eligible tenant industries and created brochures to promote business attraction.
A city official explained, "Knowledge industrial centers provide office space and infrastructure to companies" and noted, "LG HelloVision's relocation demonstrates that Goyang City offers an optimal environment for business growth." The city plans to review additional expansions of eligible industries and implement customized corporate policies.
