인천 부평구에서 16일 승용차 2대가 충돌했다. 이 사고로 스포츠유틸리티차(SUV)가 전복됐다. 1살 아기를 포함한 4명이 부상을 입었다.

인천소방본부는 이날 오후 2시 3분께 부평동 굴다리오거리 인근 도로에서 싼타페와 아반떼가 충돌했다고 밝혔다. 싼타페 운전자 A(54·여)씨는 가슴 통증을 호소했다. 동승한 B(1)군은 전신에 부상을 입었다. 119구급대는 이들을 병원으로 이송했다. 아반떼 운전자 C(69·여)씨와 동승자도 목 통증을 호소해 병원으로 옮겨졌다. 4명 모두 생명에는 지장이 없다.

경찰은 신호 위반으로 사고가 발생한 것으로 보고 있다. 정확한 사고 경위를 조사 중이다.

The Incheon Fire Department reported that a Santafe and an Avante collided on a road near Guldari Five-way Intersection in Bupyeong-dong at around 2:03 p.m. Santafe driver A (54, female) complained of chest pain. Passenger B (1, male) suffered injuries to his entire body. The 119 paramedics transported them to the hospital. Avante driver C (69, female) and a passenger also complained of neck pain and were taken to the hospital. All four are not in life-threatening condition.

Police believe the accident occurred due to a traffic signal violation. They are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
