경기도 군포의왕교육지원청(교육장 정숙경)이 2024년 12월 16일 (사)한국사진작가협회 군포시지부(지부장 임효례)와 지역 문화 활성화를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.

협약은 교육지원청과 지역사회 단체 간 교류를 통해 사진작품 전시 등 문화활동을 공동으로 진행하기 위해 추진됐다.

군포의왕교육지원청은 교육지원청 내에 사진작품 전시공간을 제공한다. 이를 통해 지역에서 활동하는 사진작가들의 작품을 학생, 교직원, 민원인이 체험하고 공유할 기회를 확대한다.

정숙경 교육장은 "교육지원청을 단순한 행정 공간이 아닌 지역 문화의 공유 공간으로 만들고 싶다"며 "앞으로도 지역사회와 다양한 협력을 통해 지역 문화 활성화에 노력하겠다"고 밝혔다.

Provides Exhibition Space in Educational Facility to Advance Regional Culture

The Gunpo-Uiwang Office of Education in Gyeonggi Province (Superintendent Jung Suk-gyeong) and the Korea Photography Association Gunpo Chapter (Chapter Director Lim Hyo-ye) signed a cooperative agreement for regional cultural revitalization on December 16, 2024.

The agreement was initiated to jointly conduct cultural activities, including photography exhibitions, through collaboration between the educational office and local community organizations.

The Gunpo-Uiwang Office of Education will provide exhibition space within the educational facility for photography works. Through this initiative, students, staff, and residents can expand opportunities to experience and share the works of photographers active in the region.

Superintendent Jung Suk-gyeong stated, "I want to transform the educational office from a simple administrative space into a shared cultural space for the community. Going forward, we will continue to work on revitalizing regional culture through diverse collaborations with the community."
