◆ 대통령 직접 반도체 보고회 주재

보고회는 이 대통령의 모두발언에 이어 김정관 산업통상자원부 장관이 정부 합동 반도체산업 전략을 발표한다. 글로벌 반도체 2강 도약 목표를 달성하기 위한 세부 과제 로드맵이 제시된다. AI 차세대 메모리와 신경망처리장치(NPU) 개발, 국방 반도체 기술 자립, 소재·부품·장비 기업 육성 방안 등이 포함된다.
◆ 민관 합동 토론 진행
발표 후 3개 주제로 토론이 이어진다. 'AI 시대의 산업 지형 변화', '반도체 생산능력 제고 방안', 'AI 반도체 기술 개발 및 생태계 육성 방안' 등이다. 이날 행사에는 대통령실·정부 부처뿐 아니라 삼성전자·SK하이닉스 등 민간 기업과 학교·연구기관 관계자들도 참석한다.

◆ Roadmap Presented to Become Global Top 2 in Semiconductors
Following President Lee's opening remarks, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Kim Jung-kwan announces the government joint semiconductor industry strategy. A detailed task roadmap to achieve the goal of becoming a global top 2 semiconductor power will be presented. It includes AI next-generation memory and Neural Processing Unit (NPU) development, defense semiconductor technology self-reliance, and measures to foster materials, parts, and equipment companies.
◆ Joint Public-Private Discussion Held
Three topics of discussion follow the presentation. These include "Changes in Industrial Landscape in the AI Era," "Measures to Enhance Semiconductor Production Capacity," and "AI Semiconductor Technology Development and Ecosystem Development Measures." The event is attended by not only the Presidential Office and government ministries but also private companies such as Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, as well as representatives from universities and research institutions.
