◆ 주민배심원 50명 위촉 1차 회의 개최

인천광역시교육청이 4일 2025년 교육감 공약이행평가를 위해 주민배심원 50명을 위촉했다. 인천광역시교육청은 같은 날 1차 회의를 개최했다. 주민배심원단은 성별·연령·지역을 고려해 공개 모집했다. 시민과 학생 중 외부 전문기관 면접을 거쳐 최종 선정됐다.

◆ 3차례 회의 통해 최종 권고안 마련 예정

배심원단은 1차 회의를 시작으로 3차례에 걸쳐 민선 4기 공약 이행 현황을 점검한다. 매니페스토 강의와 분임 구성을 진행한다. 교육청 담당 부서와 합동 토론을 거쳐 최종 권고안을 마련할 예정이다.

◆ 공약이행률 99.8% 전망 2년 연속 SA등급

인천시교육청은 자체 잠정 집계 결과 12월 말 기준 임기 내 공약 목표를 99.8% 달성할 것으로 전망한다. 인천시교육청은 전국시도교육감 공약이행 및 정보공개 평가에서 2024년과 2025년 2년 연속 SA(최우수) 등급을 받았다.

도성훈 교육감은 "공약은 시민과의 약속으로 인천교육의 핵심 가치를 담아 흔들림 없이 추진해 왔다"고 밝혔다. 도 교육감은 "이행 여부뿐 아니라 학생들에게 실질적인 도움이 되었는지도 중요하다"고 강조했다. 도 교육감은 "주민배심원단이 시민과 학생의 시각에서 성과와 개선 방향을 적극 제시해 달라"고 당부했다.
