올 겨울 들어 처음으로 수도권과 중부지방에 5㎝ 내외의 눈이 내렸다.

5일 행정안전부 중앙재난안전대책본부에 따르면 4일 하루 동안 경기 하남시 6.2㎝, 서울 5.9㎝, 강원 5.3㎝, 충북 3.9㎝, 충남 3.6㎝ 등 중부지방에 폭설이 내렸다.

이로 인해 김포공항과 제주공항에서 각각 4편씩 총 8편의 항공기가 결항됐다. 여객선 4척도 운항이 중단됐다. 내부순환로, 강변북로 등 서울 시내 22개소를 포함해 전국 24개 도로가 통제됐다.

중대본은 대설 위기경보를 '주의' 단계로 상향하고 비상 1단계를 유지 중이다. 인명·시설 피해는 없었으며, 소방 당국은 206건의 구조 활동을 수행했다.

한편 경기·강원·경북 일부 지역에는 한파주의보가 발효 중이다.

The headquarters raised the heavy snow alert level to 'caution' and maintains emergency level 1. No casualties or facility damage were reported, and fire authorities conducted 206 rescue operations.

Meanwhile, cold wave advisories remain in effect for parts of Gyeonggi, Gangwon, and Gyeongbuk provinces.
