◆ 교육활동보호 지원단 2기 출범

인천광역시교육청은 3일 교육활동보호 지원단 위촉식 및 간담회를 개최했다. 인천시교육청은 교육활동 보호를 위한 현장 지원을 강화한다. 지원단 2기 출범으로 학교 현장에서 체감할 수 있는 실효적 대책을 추진한다.

◆ 지원단 구성 및 역할

교육활동보호 지원단은 총 43명으로 구성됐다. 교육전문가 5명, 의료지원단 5명, 법률지원단 33명이다. 지원단은 법률·의료·상담을 아우르는 원스톱 지원 체계를 구축했다. 교육전문가는 학교급별 교육활동 침해 상황 컨설팅을 담당한다. 의료지원단은 교육활동 침해 또는 무고한 아동학대 피신고로 소진된 교원의 정신건강 회복을 위한 상담·치료를 지원한다. 법률지원단은 법률 상담, 소송 대리, 아동학대 고소·고발 대응을 통해 피해 교원을 돕는다.

◆ 도성훈 교육감 발언

도성훈 인천시교육감은 "전국 최초로 교육감 직속 교육활동보호담당관을 설치해 교육활동 보호를 최우선 과제로 추진하고 있다"고 밝혔다. 도 교육감은 "지원단이 학교 현장 문제를 선제적으로 파악하고 해결하는 데 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대한다"고 말했다. 인천시교육청은 2024년 1월부터 지원단 1기를 운영해 왔다.

The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education held a commissioning ceremony and meeting for the Education Activity Protection Support Group on December 3. The Incheon Office of Education strengthens field support for education activity protection. With the launch of the 2nd support group, the office will pursue effective measures that can be felt in school fields.

◆ Composition and Role of Support Group

The Education Activity Protection Support Group consists of 43 members. It includes 5 education experts, 5 medical support members, and 33 legal support members. The support group established a one-stop support system covering legal, medical, and counseling services. Education experts handle consulting on education activity infringement situations by school level. The medical support team provides counseling and treatment for mental health recovery of teachers exhausted from education activity infringement or false child abuse reports. The legal support team helps affected teachers through legal counseling, litigation representation, and responding to child abuse accusations.

◆ Superintendent Do Sung-hoon's Statement

Incheon Superintendent of Education Do Sung-hoon said, "We established the Education Activity Protection Officer directly under the superintendent for the first time in the nation and are pursuing education activity protection as a top priority." Superintendent Do added, "We expect the support group to play an important role in proactively identifying and resolving problems in school fields." The Incheon Office of Education has operated the 1st support group since January 2024.
