◆ KTR 시흥 바이오메디컬연구소 기공식 개최

한국화학융합시험연구원(KTR)은 4일 경기도 시흥시 배곧동 270 경기경제자유구역 시흥 배곧지구 연구용지 1-2에서 'KTR 시흥 바이오메디컬연구소 기공식'을 열었다. KTR은 2029년 준공을 목표로 연구소 건립을 추진한다.

◆ 임병택 시장 등 200여 명 참석

기공식에는 임병택 시흥시장과 김현철 한국화학융합시험연구원장을 비롯한 관계자 200여 명이 참석했다. 임병택 시장은 인사말을 전했다. 참석자들은 시삽을 마친 뒤 파이팅을 외쳤다.

KTR 시흥 바이오메디컬연구소는 시흥시 바이오산업 발전의 핵심 거점이 될 전망이다. 시흥시는 배곧지구를 중심으로 바이오메디컬 산업 육성에 속도를 낸다.

Korea Testing & Research Institute (KTR) held the 'KTR Siheung Biomedical Research Institute Groundbreaking Ceremony' at Research Site 1-2, Baegot District, Gyeonggi Free Economic Zone, 270 Baegot-dong, Siheung-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 4th. KTR aims to complete the research institute by 2029.

About 200 officials attended the groundbreaking ceremony, including Siheung Mayor Lim Byeong-taek and KTR Director Kim Hyun-cheol. Mayor Lim delivered a greeting. Attendees shouted "Fighting" after the ceremonial groundbreaking.
