◆ 발사 당일 기상 전망

누리호 4차 발사가 예정된 27일 새벽 전남 고흥군 나로우주센터 기상 상황은 양호할 전망이다. 26일 광주기상청에 따르면 27일 오전 0시부터 오전 1시 사이 나로우주센터 주변은 대체로 맑은 날씨를 보인다. 기온은 910도 사이다. 바람은 초속 34m의 북서풍이 분다. 습도는 고흥군 대표 지점 기준 95% 내외다.

◆ 발사 가능 기상 조건

우주발사체 발사에 영향을 미치는 기상 조건은 온도, 습도, 압력, 지상풍, 고층풍, 낙뢰, 구름 등이다. 발사 가능 온도는 영하 10도에서 영상 35도다. 습도는 25도 기준 98% 이하여야 한다. 지상풍은 평균 풍속 15m, 순간 최대 풍속 21m가 기준이다. 비행 경로 상에 번개 방전 가능성이 없어야 한다.

◆ 기상청 당부

기상청 관계자는 "누리호 4차 발사를 앞둔 나로우주센터 주변 기상 상황은 전반적으로 양호하다"고 밝혔다. 이 관계자는 "관람객들은 쌀쌀한 날씨 속 두터운 외투 등을 입어 건강에 지장이 없도록 해야 한다"고 당부했다.

Weather conditions at Naro Space Center in Goheung-gun, South Jeolla Province are expected to be favorable for the scheduled 4th launch of the Nuri rocket on the morning of Nov. 27. According to Gwangju Meteorological Administration on Nov. 26, weather around Naro Space Center will be mostly clear between midnight and 1 a.m. on Nov. 27. Temperature will range between 9 and 10 degrees Celsius. Northwest winds will blow at 3-4 meters per second. Humidity will be around 95% based on Goheung-gun's representative observation point.

◆ Launch Weather Requirements

Weather conditions affecting space launch vehicle launches include temperature, humidity, pressure, surface wind, upper-level wind, lightning, and clouds. Launch-permissible temperature ranges from minus 10 to plus 35 degrees Celsius. Humidity must be below 98% at 25 degrees Celsius. Surface wind standards are average wind speed of 15 m/s and maximum instantaneous wind speed of 21 m/s. There must be no possibility of lightning discharge along the flight path.

◆ Meteorological Administration Advisory

A Meteorological Administration official stated, "Overall weather conditions around Naro Space Center ahead of the 4th Nuri launch are favorable." The official advised, "Spectators should wear thick outerwear in the chilly weather to avoid health issues."
