김주영 의원은 정년 연장 문제에 대해 "당 정년연장특별위원회에서 논의 중이며 연내 입법 목표를 갖고 있지만 타임라인을 확정하기 어렵다"고 말했다. 김영훈 고용노동부 장관은 "임금체불은 노동자와 가족의 생계를 위협하는 사회적 재난으로 반드시 근절하겠다"며 "법정형 상향과 타 부처 협업, 지방정부 합동점검으로 현장을 관리하겠다"고 강조했다.
