경기도의회 건설교통위원회 박옥분(더불어민주당·수원2) 의원이 11일 경기도의 지반 침하 사고가 전국에서 가장 많다며 지하안전관리지도 구축의 필요성을 강조했다.
박 의원은 이날 경기도 건설국에 대한 행정사무감사에서 "최근 5년 동안 전국 지반 침하 867건 중 173건이 경기도에서 발생했다"고 밝혔다. 그는 "하수관 손상과 굴착공사 부실 등 반복적인 원인에도 근본적인 예방 대책이 미흡하다"고 지적했다.
박 의원은 "서울시는 서울안전누리 누리집을 통해 지반 침하 위치와 발생 이력을 시민에게 공개하고 있다"며 "경기도 역시 지하안전관리지도를 조속히 마련해 발생 이력, 공동 탐사결과, 연약 지반 정보 등을 도민에게 투명하게 공개해야 한다"고 주장했다.
강성습 건설국장은 "지반 침하 예방을 위한 정보공개 시스템 구축과 지역건설산업 활성화 방안을 적극 검토하겠다"고 답했다.

During an administrative audit of the Gyeonggi Province Construction Bureau on this day, Assemblymember Park stated that "173 out of 867 ground subsidence cases nationwide over the past 5 years occurred in Gyeonggi Province." She pointed out that "fundamental prevention measures are insufficient despite repetitive causes such as sewer pipe damage and poor excavation work."
Assemblymember Park argued that "Seoul City discloses ground subsidence locations and occurrence history to citizens through the Seoul Safety Nuri website," adding that "Gyeonggi Province should also promptly prepare an underground safety management map to transparently disclose occurrence history, cavity exploration results, and soft ground information to provincial residents."
Construction Bureau Director Kang Seong-seup responded that "we will actively review the establishment of an information disclosure system for ground subsidence prevention and measures to revitalize the local construction industry."
