서울 모든 자치구에 1캠퍼스씩 총 25개 캠퍼스 조성을 마친 '청년취업사관학교'가 인공지능(AI) 인재 양성소로 개편된다.
서울시는 11일 '청년취업사관학교 2.0-1089(십중팔구) 프로젝트'를 발표했다. 이번 프로젝트 목표는 실무 경험을 갖춘 현장형 AI 인재를 양성해 양질의 일자리에 80~90% 취업시키는 것이다.
◆ 교육 규모 확대와 체계 구축
교육 인원은 올해 3300명에서 2030년 1만명까지 단계적으로 확대한다.
서울시는 AI 산업 현장 수요에 대응 가능한 경쟁력 있는 교육 체계를 구축한다. 글로벌 빅테크 전담 캠퍼스를 2030년까지 10개로 확대하고 특화 산업 거점 캠퍼스를 운영한다.
마포와 중구, 종로에서 올해부터 운영 중인 글로벌 빅테크 전담캠퍼스가 내년 5개, 2030년 총 10개까지 늘어난다. 엔비디아, 오라클 등 인공지능 기업이 중급 이상 심화 교육 과정을 전담 운영한다. SK, KT 등 국내 대기업이 참여하는 프로젝트 기반형 현장 실무 교육도 함께 실시한다.
신성장 혁신 축을 중심으로 한 특화 산업 거점 캠퍼스 5곳이 신규로 운영된다. 지역별 거점 산업과 교육 과정을 연계해 지역 수요에 맞는 특화된 인공지능 인재를 양성한다.
◆ 고급 인재 양성과 강사 자격 강화
청년취업사관학교 AI 교육 과정을 수료한 청년들을 대상으로 한 '산·학·연 연계 고급 인재 양성 트랙'을 신설한다. 매년 20명을 선발해 연구, 학위 등 과정까지 지원한다.
강사 자격은 인공지능·소프트웨어 분야 실무 경력 2년 이상으로 요건을 강화한다.
◆ 취업·창업 지원 확대
기업·공공 맞춤형 인턴십 등 취업·창업 지원을 확대 운영해 현장에 즉시 투입 가능한 실무 경험과 역량을 갖춘 인공지능 인재를 양성한다.
인공지능 관련 협회 회원사 인력 수요를 조사해 서울시 매력 일자리와 연계한 '기업 연계 인턴십'을 실시하고 실제 일자리로 이어질 수 있도록 한다.
서울시가 운영하는 '서울형 청년 인턴 직무 캠프'에 AI 분야를 추가한다.
'시정 연계 인턴십'에 교통, 인구 등 데이터를 분석·활용하는 공공 분야 AI 인재 수요를 반영한다. 서울시 매력 일자리 직무 분야(공공형)에 AI 활용 분야를 신설한다.
◆ 자격증 과정과 AI얼라이언스 구성
청년 취업 경쟁력 확보를 위해 '인공지능 전문 자격증 취득 과정'을 운영한다. 구글, 마이크로소프트 등 AI 기업 자격증을 비롯해 구직 시 인정받을 수 있는 자격증 교육 과정을 운영한다. 실전 모의고사 기회와 응시료 등을 지원한다.
다음 달 청년취업사관학교와 기업, 대학, 협회·단체 간 협업 체인 '서울 AI얼라이언스'를 구성해 인공지능 인재 양성 방향과 방법을 논의하고 2030년까지 250개까지 참여 기관을 늘릴 계획이다.
AI 교육 등 재능 기부를 통한 사회 활동과 취약 계층 교육생 장학금 후원 등에 쓰일 발전 기금을 조성한다.
오세훈 서울시장은 "청년취업사관학교 2.0-십중팔구 프로젝트를 통해 배움이 곧 취업과 창업으로 이어지는 AI 인재 양성 종합 플랫폼으로 발전시켜 서울을 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖춘 혁신 도시로 만들겠다"고 밝혔다.

Seoul City announced the 'Youth Employment Military Academy 2.0-1089 (Ten Out of Eight or Nine) Project' on the 11th. The goal of this project is to train field-oriented AI talent with practical experience and achieve 80-90% employment in quality jobs.
◆ Education Scale Expansion and System Construction
The number of trainees will be gradually expanded from 3,300 this year to 10,000 by 2030.
Seoul City will build a competitive education system capable of responding to AI industry field demand. Global big tech dedicated campuses will be expanded to 10 by 2030, and specialized industry hub campuses will be operated.

◆ Advanced Talent Training and Instructor Qualification Enhancement
An 'industry-academia-research linked advanced talent training track' will be newly established for young people who have completed the Youth Employment Military Academy AI education course. Twenty people will be selected annually and supported through research and degree programs.
Instructor qualifications will be strengthened to require at least 2 years of practical experience in AI and software fields.
◆ Expansion of Employment and Startup Support
AI talent with practical experience and capabilities that can be immediately deployed in the field will be trained by expanding operation of customized internships for companies and public sectors, among other employment and startup support.
'Company-linked internships' linked to Seoul City attractive jobs will be implemented by surveying manpower demand from member companies of AI-related associations, enabling connection to actual jobs.
AI fields will be added to the 'Seoul-type Youth Intern Job Camp' operated by Seoul City.
AI talent demand in the public sector analyzing and utilizing data such as transportation and population will be reflected in 'city administration-linked internships.' AI utilization fields will be newly established in Seoul City attractive job categories (public type).
◆ Certification Courses and AI Alliance Formation
An 'AI professional certification acquisition course' will be operated to secure youth employment competitiveness. Certification education courses recognized during job seeking, including AI company certifications from Google and Microsoft, will be operated. Opportunities for practical mock exams and examination fees will be supported.
Next month, the 'Seoul AI Alliance,' a collaboration chain between the Youth Employment Military Academy, companies, universities, and associations/organizations, will be formed to discuss directions and methods for AI talent training, with plans to increase participating organizations to 250 by 2030.
A development fund will be established for social activities through talent donations such as AI education and sponsorship of scholarships for disadvantaged class trainees.
Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon stated, "Through the Youth Employment Military Academy 2.0-Ten Out of Eight or Nine Project, we will develop it into a comprehensive platform for AI talent training where learning leads directly to employment and entrepreneurship, making Seoul an innovation city with global competitiveness."
