정 의장은 "인천소방길 명예도로 제막식이 소방관의 희생을 영원히 기억하는 상징이 되길 바란다"며 "인천시의회는 재난 대응 역량 강화와 안전 인프라 확충을 위한 정책과 예산 지원에 최선을 다하겠다"고 강조했다. 정 의장은 "모든 소방공무원과 의용소방대원에게 진심으로 감사드린다"고 말했다.
