외국인 남성이 남자 중학생을 지인 집으로 유인해 성폭행하려다 경찰에 붙잡혔다.

인천 서부경찰서는 간음유인 혐의로 파키스탄 국적 A(30대)씨에 대해 구속영장을 신청했다고 29일 밝혔다.

A씨는 21일 오후 9시 30분께 인천 서구 한 편의점 앞에서 중학생 B군에게 햄버거 등을 사준 뒤 파키스탄인 친구의 집에 데려가 간음을 시도한 혐의를 받고 있다.

A씨는 B군의 부모로부터 112신고를 받고 출동한 경찰에 긴급체포됐다.

경찰은 현장 폐쇄회로(CCTV) 영상 등을 토대로 A씨의 유인 행위가 실제로 이뤄진 것으로 보고 있다.

B군은 경찰 조사에서 "A씨가 신체 부위를 보여달라면서 성관계를 요구했다"는 취지로 진술했다.

A씨는 "간음할 의도가 없었다"며 혐의를 부인하는 것으로 전해졌다.

경찰 관계자는 "A씨가 불법체류자는 아니다"면서 "A씨의 주거지가 불분명한 점 등을 고려해 구속영장을 신청했다"고 말했다.

A foreign man was arrested by police after attempting to sexually assault a male middle school student by luring him to an acquaintance's house.

Incheon Seobu Police Station announced on the 29th that it applied for an arrest warrant for A (30s), a Pakistani national, on charges of luring for rape.

A is suspected of buying hamburgers and other items for middle school student B at a convenience store in Seo-gu, Incheon around 9:30 PM on the 21st, then taking him to a Pakistani friend's house and attempting rape.

A was emergency arrested by police who were dispatched after receiving a 112 report from B's parents.

Police believe that A's act of luring actually occurred based on on-site closed-circuit (CCTV) footage.

B stated to police that "A asked to show body parts and demanded sexual relations."

A is reported to deny the charges, saying "I had no intention of rape."

A police official said, "A is not an illegal resident," adding "We applied for an arrest warrant considering that A's residence is unclear."
