군포시의회, 둔대농악 전승 위한 체계적 행정 지원 촉구

◆지속 가능한 전승 위한 행정 지원 체계 마련해야

군포시의회(의장 김귀근)가 28일 군포문화예술회관 국제회의실에서 개최된 '둔대농악 전승과 무형유산적 가치' 학술세미나에서 지역 전통문화유산인 둔대농악의 지속 가능한 전승을 위해 체계적인 행정 지원이 필요하다는 의견을 제시했다. 이날 세미나는 경기도와 경기문화재단이 주최하고, 군포시의회와 꿈꾸는산대가 주관해 둔대농악의 역사적 가치와 전승체계 강화를 위한 방안을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다. 특히 이날 세미나에는 군포시의회를 대표해 이길호·이혜승 의원이 토론자로 참여해 둔대농악 전승 보전을 위한 구체적 방안을 제시했다고 시의회는 밝혔다.

◆이길호 의원 "시가 주체적으로 관리해야"

이길호 의원은 "둔대농악의 전승은 단체의 자발적 노력만으로는 한계가 있다"며 "활동이 안정적으로 이어질 수 있도록 시가 주체적으로 관리하고 지속 가능한 행정 지원 체계를 마련해야 한다"고 밝혔다. 이혜승 의원은 "둔대농악은 군포시민이 세대를 이어 지켜온 소중한 무형유산이지만, 안정적인 연습 공간과 교육 인프라가 부족하다"며 "상설 연습실 확보와 전승교육 프로그램 운영이 가능하도록 시의 적극적인 지원이 필요하다"고 강조했다.

◆김귀근 의장 "전승 기반 강화 방안 적극 검토"

김귀근 의장은 "군포시의회는 이번 세미나를 계기로 둔대농악의 보존과 교육, 연습환경 개선 등 전승 기반 강화를 위한 행정적 지원 방안을 적극 검토할 예정"이라고 말했다.
