◆ 24~25일 이틀간 개최
제31회 전국시립소년소녀합창제가 10월 24일부터 25일까지 이틀간 인천문화예술회관 대공연장에서 열린다. 1992년 시작된 전국시립소년소녀합창제는 매년 여러 도시를 순회하며 개최되는 전국 단위의 음악 축제다. 올해는 인천문화예술회관 리모델링 재개관을 기념해 인천에서 개최한다. 전국 각지에서 모인 시립소년소녀합창단 1,300여 명의 단원들이 참가한다. 총 20개 팀의 공연이 펼쳐진다. 주최 도시인 인천시립소년소녀합창단은 양일간 무대에 오른다.
◆ 24일 클래식 중심 공연
10월 24일 오후 7시 첫째 날 무대는 클래식 기반의 합창으로 구성한다. 군포, 의정부, 파주, 포천, 구미, 광주, 김해, 통영, 인천 합창단이 무대에 오른다. 가곡·종교음악·전통음악·창작곡을 통해 합창을 선보인다. 마지막 무대는 출연팀이 모두 함께하는 연합합창곡 〈바다 깊이 하늘 높이〉(박문희 작곡, 전소연 작사)로 진행한다.
◆ 25일 K-POP·뮤지컬 공연
10월 25일 오후 5시 둘째 날 공연은 다채로운 무대로 구성한다. 김포, 고양, 과천, 광명, 서울, 시흥, 안성, 안양, 의왕, 창원, 인천 시립소년소녀합창단이 출연한다. 가요와 K-POP, 뮤지컬, 음악극 등 레퍼토리로 무대를 꾸민다. 대미는 모든 합창단이 무대에 올라 부르는 연합합창곡 〈우리는 K-Singing Star〉(이선택 작곡, 전소연 작사)로 장식한다.

조현경 인천시립소년소녀합창단 예술감독은 "전국의 소년소녀합창단이 모여 맑고 순수한 목소리로 감동과 행복을 전하는 무대가 될 것"이라고 말했다. 조 감독은 "다양한 장르의 음악을 한자리에서 즐기며, 세계로 뻗어나가는 K-합창의 출발점이 될 것"이라고 덧붙였다.

The Incheon Municipal Children's Choir will present the creative music drama <Incheon! Liberation Baby> at the Grand Theater on November 8th. An exchange concert <Contemplation Concert> with the Gunpo, Gwacheon, and Anyang Municipal Children's Choirs will be held on November 22nd.
